Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you find this discussion helpful and fun!!

Hi Alice, I have offered in a previous post to print our well wishes and send. But havent seen any yet, But if you would like to do it that would be fine. A friend of mine who makes specialty cards has made me one with a pic of the battlestation simulator and info of what they will be doing. It has my son's name on the front and the div #. She included extra pages for our family and friends to write to the division. I will be sending that one..

Hi girls...I'm not sure what we are talking about here. I would like to know about it, sounds interesting.
sunnydg, Lynne was talking about we post a note to our sailors wishing them luck on battlestations and printing our notes and sending to them, that they have our support and prayers from all of us on here. Send these notes in a card , to be shared by all in the division..
Heads up Div. 364 got letter from my son today he says IF they do good on Drill inspectipn (?) they will get call home on the 22nd thats tomorrow! He did say that they were having probs with some people talking and what not < if thats not corrected no phone calls !

my son's fiancee got letter that said the same thing. Calls tomorrow if they pass inspection. He said the entire division failed last inspection. That there are a few still not wanting to follow orders. But things were going better now.
My son said in call yesterday they may not have tine to do gad chamber! We will see . And said he mad sharpshooter. Sounded tired

I got a call yesterday only talked for a minute. I was at work. He called my mom and said everything was going good. He just can't wait for Grad.
