I am glad you finally got your call. Now we can all sleep.
lol, you are right. Thank you all for staying here with me until I got my call. I feel so guilty. I know it would have been hard without all of you and all I can say is I just love you all. Hugs and God Bless You. Kathy
Not a problem Kathy. We Mom's stick together :) Have a great night and get some sleep! Susan
You too Betsy!! Susan
Goodnight Betsy, Hugs. I still remember you being the first person to get on this discussion and saying at the time, I can't wait until we get more moms here. Have we got some great Moms or what. Tell your husband how sorry I am for keeping you away from him while you had to babysit me. I truly appreciate it. God Bless You. Kathy
Wendi, good night and God Bless You. Kathy
Yes Wendi, good night :) Susan
Goodnight, Susan, Thank you so much for being here with me and providing so much laughter. This is a memory I will never forget. All of us here while our children got to Illinois and boot camp. Hugs and God Bless You. Kathy
Goodnight all. Tomorrow is another day. Kathy
Good morning everyone, Sorry I missed last night, I was cracking up with all of your comments. It was Jens last night so I couldn't get on here. I will be dropping her off at the recruiters this morning. It's what she wanted. Basically as long as mom is still there, she is not getting on with her life lol. I'm okay with that. I was so glad to hear all of your positive comments on how everything went with your sons and daughters. I'm definately feeling better about today. Just focusing on the future.
Thank you all.
Donna
It was really great to read all of your posts - - so glad everyone has been checked in and phone calls were received. I def. know what to expect tonight when he calls. Hopefully, I will feel somewhat better. At least then, we can start the countdown to PIR!! This has been an unbelievable experience. I did not even imagine what it meant for me when he signed up for the Navy. What a life altering decision. I am very proud of him and all of our children. God Bless them and us during these next eight weeks!!!
I feel like i missed the party last night....but it is great reading your posts it makes me soooo hopeful that everything is going to be ok. I have to take Taylor to his recruiter's office at 3 for final paperwork/check in and then to the hotel at 6ish, it sounds heartless but I'm ready to get the show on the road and start moving forward again. These past 2 weeks have been trying for me, I have felt like the most important thing to Taylor has been hanging with his friends and ditching his family, I know everyone deals with things differently its been somewhat hurtful for me, hopefully he will have a moment of clarity in BC and realize who has been right in front of him all along. Maybe my emotions have scared him and going with his friends have helped him get through the past few weeks, who knows....uuummmm, I'm just ready for him to get to that "boot camp place" hahaha
