Kathy,

Sorry to hijack your post to Susan. But but you can go into My Page, then Settings, look under Profile and you will see username. Change it and save it there.

Betsy
lol. I just figured it out. Bless you. My heart is just beating crazy right now with all the new info. Hijacked. lol. I hope you hear soon and I hope you are with either susan or my child. Hugs, K
WOW!! A phone call!! That's so exciting and such a surprise! Susan
Who knew Betsy was a hijacker?? :) Susan
Hi Jeanne, I am glad you got the box but I understand why it would be sad. Hugs. K
K - That's so cute that you told him his ship #. That is so my D. He is probably so confused about now. I wish you could have asked him if they are being mean to them. That's what I worry about most. Susan

And, yes, breatheeeeeee
Susan, I am dissappointed they aren't in the same division but they are in the same ship so it is in the same building I think. The recruiting office said there was another person that went up there with B that is in B's division so it is possible your son might all ready know someone there. I can't even type well so forgive me if I am rambling right now. I ran around the house finding the info they needed and already faxed it. This all makes me so nervous and I want to make sure they get everything they need. Whew. I told Betsy that she has to be in one of our divisions. Hugs. K

PS: B are they being mean to you? Mom, I can't talk now. Lol. Susan, you are so funny.
Kathy,
Talk about out of the blue!! How cool, and what a special treat! SO happy for you!!! I am going through the day today thinking...two hours ahead...no sleep...lots of little prayers on my end...this is really TOUGH!! It's weird cuz I am two days behind you guys...my box is going to the GF...so nothing to anticipate on this end at least that way. Dying to know about PIR...my recruiter told me he could tell me address and PIR by tomorrow...may have been just a story. OR they wait until Friday and all the kids have arrived to make PIR decisions... hmmmmm the whys are beyond me...I just wanna know!!!

However, it made me feel better when my other son told me that he went home after MEPS and watched a bunch of the BC videos on youtube. He was really excited and told me all about the "COOL" things his brother was going to get to do...I think guys just look at this stuff differently. (Probably has something to do with their hardwiring). He was all excited about shooting the guns, some kind of digital thing, and I think he was watching a video on Battlestations. That really made me feel better as (other than the total lack of sleep and head games) possibly the boys are having fun??? I am going to stick with this idea for the time being. :-)
Nancy - I am hanging onto the hope that in all of this they are having fun, or at least will have fun in the near future!! Susan
Hi Nancy, I wonder if we judge boot camp by what we are afraid of because these young people may be having more fun than we think they would. I don't know if I am making any sense but...It has been too exciting this afternoon and now I am pooped. I am going to rest up and be back later. Hugs. Kathy
Nancy,

That is so cool that your other son is checking out the stuff that I is doing. I bet that made him feel better too.

Your time is coming for the next phase of excitement. I think finding out their division and ship is one of the best parts of our journey. I can't wait!

((hugs)) to you.

Betsy
Betsy,
I agree, can't wait. I will feel better if I can begin to send letters. I am going to group them in envelopes as I have heard that if the kids get TOO much mail that is a negative. My recruiter said to call tomorrow at 11, so I will be on the phone. I will probably need to leave a zillion voice mails, he's hard to get ahold of. OR I will have his dad go down to the office to ask, that seems to be effective. :-) AND the recruiter told me he would have the PIR date tomorrow...hmmmmm doesn't really jive with what we are hearing here, but it would be excellent to know now.

It was very interesting that his brother checked it out and thought it was "cool." He told me he had to look out for his little brother. lol I shared it with the GF to try to make her feel better. May have worked, she is young..well...of course they both are...big step for these kids.
Nancy
