I love you girls! Our posts are much more ourselves today - seems good to be feeling a bit better :-) I can't stay off here tonight either Kathy. My recruiter hasn't call me yet ;-( I'm sure I'll be first on his list tomorrow ((GRIN))
LOL Lori. I told Betsy to be at the office when he arrives :) They are good at avoiding phone calls! I agree, we aren't as random and scattered today. It feels nice :) Susan
Susan, that is right. Your husband and mine went to the office and I guess they had to get the information for them. K
Lori, I am sure you and Betsy and Nancy and lots of others are going to get calls tomorrow morning and then we will know the division numbers and addresses. I am mailing my first letter tomorrow and then I will feel like I am helping him through this stage. I can't wait to see everyones ship and div numbers by your name. I thought if I left the klm part on my name you guys would at least recognize who I was. lol. Hugs. Kathy
That is really great Betsy that he called at that time. I'm reallly happy for you.
Donna
Of course this didn't end up where it was suppose to. LOL. It is really great that boxes are coming and people are finding out the divisions. I can't wait until we all have the pir dates lol.
Donna
Good Evening Mom's, Been trying to catch up but I had 160+ to read. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
So I scanned the blogs.
Nice to hear that you are getting boxes and addresses. How wonderful you can start sending all the letters I know you have been writing. Mine are still in a pile waiting.....
I think I'll stop by the recruiters office Friday AM to see if I can get the address for S.
He would not have sent a box as he took all old clothes to toss.
Will keep checking on all of you and praying as always.
Please keep me on any list if it is other than the same PIR.
Love you all and Thank You for all the support!!
Phoebe, I think we will all be in the same PIR and I didn't get a box either because he was going to toss or donate everything too. It has been fun today and I will be praying for everyone to get their boxes and ship and div numbers tomorrow morning. I am still hoping also that some of our kids are in the same divisions and ships. I also want to thank you and everyone here for the support and caring that was shown to me. I love you guys. K
I love all of you too. I so want to be at PIR with all my new friends. This is such an exciting time. I do hope all of you are trying to focus on remembering all of this. What a good laugh, in a few years, we'll have with our Sailors. Hugs to all.
Phoebe,

Yes, we can get quite chatty on here, can't we? I was only gone a couple of hours and came back to about 25 e-mails. lol

Please let us know if you find out anything tomorrow. I'm still waiting too, so hopefully we will both have good news tomorrow.

((hugs))

Betsy
Hello Ladies - Im so happy to see some of you have received your "kid in a box" and ship/divisions, I cant wait until tomorrow, my fingers are crossed that I will get some information. My Hubbies on the night shift so it was the first time ever that my daughter and I were home alone :( That was when it hit me the most that S really is gone. Trying to stay positive, and mentally Im doing well, physically Im still really sick and I cant seem to shake it, there was no resting for the past 5 days so hopefully I can get some down time this weekend.
Patti, I am so sorry you are sick and I hope you get better soon. Yes, it has been some day and I have this feeling it is going to continue for a while. When we get the PIR group formed things will probably settle down. Then we can just wait for the letters to get to us. I will be praying that you can change your name tomorrow and be in one of our divisions. Wouldn't it be something if everyone here was in a different division. As long as we are all in the same PIR I will be happy. Hugs and I get well soon. Kathy
