I thought it would be nice to start a discussion for our children leaving the week of October 25th 2010.  Welcome everyone.  Kathy

Wow. That PIR seems quick. I am unfortunately a planner and I think I passed that onto my daughter. She had already "mapped out" our schedule. Lol. She and her recruiter were thinking it would be 12/16. I am currently in college full time and 12/10 are finals for me. I'm already stressed as it is. I should just wait for the box and remember to breathe...

I sound like I'm complaining/whining... I promise I'm not. I am soooo proud of the decision that she has made. I will make it work... Somehow...
Yes, Betsy, Breathe. I am so glad you were the first to get your form letter. You deserve it after the wait for the ship and div numbers. Yay. Also you don't have to worry about being in a different PIR. Now I have to worry because I am in div 24. lol. Hugs. K

Sorry, I thought it was Betsy that was trying to breathe. lol. Brittsmom, Betsy is right about RAOC and it is ok to complain (Vent) because it helps to relieve the stress of waiting for everything and we all understand how hard this is. I am so proud of your daughter and her service to our country. Hugs. K
I agree Betsy. After the hassle you went through for the Div # I am glad you got your letter. Susan
Thank you Susan.

Now, I'm going crazy waiting for the rest of your letters.

Betsy
Me too and tomorrow is Sunday! Darn it! Susan
Thanks for the welcome. I have no clue how you guys keep up with who said what... And I am already very familiar with RAOC.
Hi Britsmom, We believe it will actually be 12-17. We are waiting for the form letters to make sure. K
So I wonder if anyone will graduate on 12/10? This whole process is so confusing and usually I get by on my common sense, but it's not helping me out in this instance! Crazy stuff. Susan
Gosh..I am praying that it is the 17th. But really it doesn't matter. Inconvenient or not I will be there.
Welcome Ashlei - My son shipped on the 26th - you have a couple of the Mom's here that I think are the same division as your husband
Hi Ashlei/louise, Welcome. Friend me if you want as my son is with your husband
Hi Ashlei,

It's great to meet you. My son A, shipped out on the 25th. How are you doing so far?

Betsy
