I did not get a letter but Dad got 2. 1 old and admitted was "misplaced" and one current, My sailor also mentioned they had more laughs than he would have ever thought. All sounded really hard and almost overwhelming but OK all in all. I got no details on tests etc. but know they are very busy! Not much information but it sounds like they are hanging in there!
Ladies, I just wanted to let you know that in case you haven't yet purchased your airline tickets for PIR, Southwest is having another sale. I purchased my tickets a couple of weeks ago and I have now cancelled and repurchased our airline tickets for 4 and have saved $254. YEA!!!! I love a great deal. I am not sure when it ends so you might want to act fast.
We received a letter from our son today and he said that this week is firearms and testing. I believe this is considered Hell week. He also mentioned that BS is sometime after Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to hear from him and I continue to pray that they will earn another call home sometime soon. I would rather not wait until after BS since I missed the 2nd call home.
I missed the 2nd call as well and haven't received another one yet either, although another recruits family received a call saying that if they pass the firearms test at the end of the week they will be allowed to call home, so keep your phone close, I would hate to miss this one as well. I have been sick ever since Oct 29th which is when he called and I missed it.
ya'll the RDC's tell almost EVERY division that they are the worst...that is their way of trying to get them to do better and they do. It takes a few weeks before the rcts realize that they have to work TOGETHER regardless if they like each other or not. They are learning to depend on each other, trust each other and work as a team.

So, write your rcts and let them know that the quicker they do this the better off they'll be. You'll find that there are always a few who just don't get it and are resistant to doing this...those usually either figure it out, get ASMO'd (set back a week or so) or discharged.
We received a letter from our son yesterday and he said that this week is firearms week and they will take test #2 I am not exactly sure what will be tested in test #2.
well it looks like other div's are getting more calls so say a little prayer that our SR's will be calling soon as well. i don't know if it will publish to my friends but this is dylansmom with a new pic and name. i changed "just in case"
Hi! Just got a 2 letters. Allis well. so pleased. Apparently he was sitting with your Dylan and siad they knew we "knew " each other. I guess the other Dylan is quite a +#@% sp I am glad it wasn't ours. Hope you got a letter. I will reread themboth and post on 12/3 PIR any good details. Cheers!
MEsailormom, i also got a letter today. just 1 though cuz he wrote to others, but he did mail them here so we all shared. that was great but he did say things were getting tougher. it's great our boys know each other, sometimes i feel more connected to people here that i don't even personally know. but here most are going thru the same roller coaster.
CindyOhioMom, so sorry for no letter for you, maybe tomorrow, and if not hopefully his gf will share info. my son tells me next to nothing but every word is precious right now that they say(write)..
