She also said she could write on Sunday and that even though she loved us, the boyfriend would get the first letter.
OMG, that is the same ship and div # as my son but I didn't hear from him! :( OMG, this is so upsetting to me!
TysMom,
I am so sorry you haven't heard from your son yet. I'm sure you will hear from him soon. Have you gotten a letter? I got a short letter Wednesday. I told my son, A, to ask around for a Ty as they are the same ship & div #s. I'm praying you hear from him soon.
jfarm
Did anyone get phone calls today? I got a letter the other day and she was hoping to be able to write on Veteran's Day. What are your boys' rates? H is CTR
In the letter we got, also on the 12th, H said that she got some mail. I am sure it wasn't everything. I sa
end something almost every day. A short letter or a card. I just but all if the encouragement cards at the store. I add a little note or a picture or a note from a friend. I think they got to write on Veteran's Day. What is your boyfriend doing in the Division? My daughter is marching behind the flags.
My daughter was in the 900 div when she was at bootcamp. She was in the choir. If anyone has any questions or would like tips on where to sit if your SR is in the choir just let me know. Also if you order ribbons and your SR is in band or choir please let me know so I can add a music note to your ribbons, :-)
I need to show your ribbons to my husband and get my order to you.
Anybody know if this division performed today at PIR?

H had told me she could make calls on Tues, but I didn't get one yesterday. Did anyone else? Maybe because it is HELL week they were too busy, or maybe because they can call tomorrow they had to wait.
Check out the PIR photos. Our kids are in them. Great pics of the band. H is in photo #14. 2nd from the left
I looked @ the photos. A is in photo #1, in front w/ cutlass. Half of him is in pic #26, lol.
I thought that was him, but I couldn't be sure. I think my daughter is in #34 behind the conductor. You can see the top of her hat and left eye, and maybe her upper lip. LOL, I'm really reaching.
Yes, that is my daughter! And I totally agree, she does have a beautiful top of hat. LOL I just got back into town and found a letter from my daughter waiting for me. It was fat with all the forms from N4M filled out. Last night was the first night since MEPS that I have slept. My daughter says that her RDC reads everything on N4M and he knows exactly who I am so I guess I better not say anything more. What I can say is that I was the DW of active duty Navy for 20 years and the Mom of active duty Navy for 5 weeks and the Mom part is harder, but it is also very rewarding.
