Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Val and Regina - My son is also in Ship 12 Div 034- I missed his phone call last Saturday- we were out of town and his must have forgotten we were not going to be home to call cel phone. I replay his vm over and over again though. I saw his best friend yesterday at Church and I started to cry and he did too. Did you both join the PIR group http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir10711
Greetings rickysmom,

I just joined the pir 10711 group yesterday and came home today to about 57 e-mails. Just toned down the settings. There are advantages to having a recorded voice mail instead of the phone call. I wish I could hear the voice when I'm feeling sad. Praying for God's grace to sustain each of us emotional moms through this time. I am so proud of my son and excited for all the wonderful experiences he is getting through his training. He will be heading down to Nuke school in Charleston right after pir. We are looking forward to visiting him there. Have a blessed day and keep writing letters. I liked the idea on the pir group of sending a letter from the dog, plants, windshield wipers etc. So creative.
My son is also on ship 12/division 034: Jesse
my son is that division, is your son going to missisippi for a school
