Got a phone call my daughter told me of two of the girls she is friends with Jewel she told me one girl was older than her and married and the other was from Waxahacie. I know I misspelled that. They were to get a phone call so be expecting one. All is well! So exicted to get the call! It just wasn't long enough. Hope everyone gets there call soon!!
Thank you, KK mom, that is my daughter. She called my son in law and said everyone had had the "recruit crud" but was better now. I'm glad they are making friends, they will need them.
missed my call tonight. I hope the division does well so they get another. I have had that phone attached to me for a week and one time I set it down and went to the restroom without it. Made me cry but his message sounded like he is doing well. I am so proud of him
I missed my call too. He called my cell 5 times, ugh!! I was at work and I normally have my phone on me but I put it down during a break and I missed him. He did talk to my other kids at home and his girlfriend and they all said he is doing good. They were happy to talk to him, I guess it's not all about me, lol.

Dana- sorry we didn't get to talk to our boys today. I am sending a (((Hug))) from one proud mom to another!!
HUGS back to those who missed their calls, And hugs to those who did get theirs. I pray they are all doing well and as for us moms I know we will get through when we see them on 12/17 we have to remember we may have sent off boys and girls but we are getting back young men and ladies.
Got a letter from my daughter and she was saying the hardest day was the 18th. She said there were 13 RDC's that were drilling them and she told me some of the guys were having trouble with Authority. She said by by the end they came together . As she said "Teamwork is Dreamwork" . Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and all the SR's have an awesome Thanksgiving!!!
I don't know about the 18th, but my daughter has also said that some were having trouble with following orders and talking all the time. I'm glad that teamwork prevailed. Check out the RTC facebook photos of today's PIR. Excellent pics of 900 divisions at work.
I just got a call from my son, Horay!!! Gosh it was so nice to hear him and in such great spirits. He said he has made a few friends whom have moms on navy4moms. He said "we think it's kind of weird but that's what mom's do". We talked for about 20 minutes, he is going to call his girlfriend now, she will be so thrilled to hear from him. YEAH!!!! This just made my day!!!

Dana- our boys have met and they talk alot about us. How Cool! He said that your son is in Drill Team.

Jewel- My son also has met your daughter. he said She talks about her husband as a recruiter. He said she is really nice. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Stacey
Thanks, Stacey. And thanks to your son. I got a nice long letter from my daughter today. She said that the RDCs read every word on N4Ms and know exactly who I am. She therefore will not reveal anymore information about people at BC because she doesn't want me to embarrass them or her. I can understand that. It really is not any of my business who her friends are. I did get a little misty eyed, looking at the photos on RTC Facebook. It really makes you proud, not just of your own SR, but of all of them and the commitment they have made when so many people their age are content to just drift. One young man in a video said it all: I can't spend Thanksgiving with my family, but I am spending it with my Navy family. That's wonderful.
talked to my son yesterday, all is well he was adopted by a local church for thanksgiving and it was really a good day for him. we have twenty days left and I am ready to see my son again, his step dad said that he misses him to which made me happy. Nic said he wasn't playing in the band but is in division 905 so I guess when I get there I will see what he has been doing. Well I do hope you all had a wonderful holiday next holiday we have our kids.
Heard from my daughter and she was at the VFW Thank you so much they got to call and get on the computer. My son came and showed me his phone she had commented on FB. We were both blown away not expecting it. Then ten minutes later she called. It was great to hear her voice wished I could have talked to her more. It really hit me. I cried! She told me she got inspected twice and recd two 5's. Also she said the div got a flag!!! She also said most all of the SR's passed the inspections. She is having a great time. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know the ones at the VFW had a great time and eat very well!!!
That's wonderful. I do know that they have all been working very hard to improve and spirits are up. There was a fire in the galley the night of the 16th?. and they had a fire drill. "The guys were really nice and many gave up their coats to the females who ran out without their outer garments." No wonder the females did IT with the males to show solidarity on the 18th. They have Marlinspike on Monday. She gets to be a Road Guard, which is good, since she gets to run more, and she really needs to run.
