Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

anybody has a son/daughter or a boyfriend/girlfriend or wife/husband that is going to be a nuke here? can anybody tell me if all the nuke will be grad and go? please tell me so i can plan for my hotel...
You may have to ask Jessica she may know...I have this girl asking me the same question. So if you get to know anything keep me posted please that way I wiil be able to tell this other girl....good luck to you!
Hey everybody I still don't know if my son's PIR will be on the 3rd!! Im waiting and waiting. Im happy for all of you who are getting close to that beautifull day!!

Well really 17 days until we can see your Young Men (No longer Boys) it will be a busy time on the 3rd but can not Wait. I have only received 1 letter from my Son as well - but they are busy I am sure - Hope to see you on the 3rd. My Son is Adam
yes they are very busy... the first week my boyfriend can write home, he is only able to write me and tell everyone what happen.

and we'll be very busy soon too...

being away from him made me more mature...
Hey everybody!!! What's up? I hope you all are doing OK and had letters and good news!!!! Let's not forget to ask our Loved ones about BS21....Then we all can share the news!!!!!!! Thanksgiving what a beautiful day will be!!!!
Recieved a phone call and letter - Sounded upbeat and that they will be doing fire fighting today or tomorrow - Said the division is starting to come together as a team - hope to see everyone at PIR only 2 weeks away!
you got a call today?? that's odd i got one yesterday... for only 10 minutes... yeah PiR in 2 weeks but he told me not to go,,, because we need to save up for our wedding so 4 weeks to go for me ~_+
No my call was yesterday as well 10 mins seemed like 2
ooohhh okey i thought some of them didnt get a call yesterday lol :) i am so excited for everyone :) miy called yesterday is the same :) i was all screaming when he called :)
Yes, I received a call from my son yesterday. So happy to hear his voice. His division is doing great. They just had their 2nd Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and they passed... They got 5 flags. They did a great job. He got 5.0 on both personal inspection and weapons turnover inspection. I am so proud of him.
My son will be staying in Chicago after graduation for his A school. A school will start on Dec. 15th through Feb. 25th. I don't know if this means anything to other recruits that are staying in Chicago. I thought I would share that with everyone.
He is still not sure though if he can come home for Christmas. I wish he could... looking forward to the PIR. 11/18/2010
