For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Julie: Yea!!! Thank you (and your son) for giving us all of this information for Div 12. I haven't heard from our son or any of the postings on N4M that Div 12 had earned any flags. It sounds like they have come together as a unit and are doing very good.

Ladies, we recieved a letter today full of information that I thought that I would share. Sat, 11/13 they got their collar devices for their NSU's (formal uniform?) Mon, 11/16 begins week #5, which includes uniform exchange, anti terrorism class, haircut #3, a NEX run, basic damage control, division photos, fire fighting, vessel damage control, and gas chamber. They have won all 4 flags a division can earn and they are in the running to get the CNO (?) flag, which would make our boys a honor division. isn't that awesome? I am so proud of all of their hard work and team work.
Now? I just need to hear my son's voice. -

That is such great information!!!! Thanks so much. I received a letter yesterday too (gee life has been better with more letters!) but it described my sailor being very sick with fever, sore throat. Said it was the worst day yet at BC especially PT while so sick. Attitude was very good....said by the time I got the letter he would be all better. All in all I believe this division has been doing great. I am less anxious and more excited now!

My prayers will go out to your son for a speedy recovery. I can't imagine being that sick and still needing to perform at a high level.

frywife, thank you sooo much for all the GREAT info. it is wonderful to know they are doing so awesome... most of us had no doubt our boys were the best and it looks like they are showing their skills...
MEsailormom, i'm sooo sorry ur sailor is sick. i never heard what ailment my Dylan had just that he got some meds from the doc and he is MUCH better. hopefully yours can get some of the super meds...
now if we can all get phone calls it would make this momma super happy.... -
