woooooow your son really does talk a lot :) my bf... i mean fiancee, i mean i dont really know our status right now lol :) yesterday when he called he just told me how much he miss me and how much he love me and told me when he comes home for christmas I will be his official wife :) that's all and i was kind of coughing and coughing yesterday when he called so he was pretty concerned about me... so just a lil bit of lecture from him too lol... and he never told me anything about the div... i hope he has a new friends there... he have a hard time talking to people and he is having a hard time to talk to girls too!!! i am the only girl he really talks to much so i hope he is getting well in befriending the girls in boot camp and making friends...
This Div is very quiet!! Why? Come on everyone share with us!! My son does not give enouf INF so I have nothing to say but Im sure you guys do:) He is doing good so far...Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!!!!!
Same here Maria. Haven't gotten a lot of info from Joe.Have gotten a couple of letters and no phone calls. He did tell me that he was grad & go, which makes me feel a little better about not being able to go to PIR. The last thing I want to do is make him feel like he has to choose between spending time with me or his father.
Couple weeks ago, they did their simulation and live firearms... my son did like it and got a sharp shooter ribbon. They also had a Military Drill Inspection and they scored 4.8 out of 5.0, so his division did very well. My son is a stick (flag holder) and a stand watch, so he get's up an hour early, losing a lot of sleep.
Last week, they had their photos taken. A lot of things happening. Can't wait to see him on PIR day. I hope your recruit/s is doing well. As far as I know, they are training really hard. God Bless and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
thanks for the info njroden! i hope we'll get a call tomorrow!!! i really miss my bf's voice...
my boyfriend just called me!!! he is so happy that he got thanksgiving liberty and he said the team work is all fine... they do fine as a team... and also he told me that he have plan our wedding and yet never tell me what is his plan!!!! so unfair... well i am happy i got a call from him he is so excited that he will be home soon and sad that he will be alone in the PiR....
You are welcome Sailor's Girl! Congratulations in advance for your upcoming wedding... happy for you.
My son called twice today and it was great to hear his voice. They were adopted by the Church today, roughly 200 of them. They had lunch and dinner there. He said that they were enjoying their free time, and it was great for the church to let them call us and very thankful for them, and for feeding our recruits at the same time.
They just had their Gas Chamber this past Monday... and next Tuesday will be their BattleStations21. Good luck to all our Recruits and May God Bless them! In the meantime, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
