Hi everyone! It was so exciting for me to find this group! My husband is in the "nerd division" as well- ship 02, div 907. I am so proud of him, and i can't wait for graduation. It feels so nice to find others in my same position, with a love one away for so long.

I think they may get a phone call this week (Thanksgiving) because when my SR called when he first got to boot camp, he said, "i wont talk to you for 3 weeks." I hope that's the case! I would love to be part of anything that is being done for graduation. I hope that is okay being that I'm not a Mom. Oh maybe I can get a scarf for my mom to wear since she will be going to PIR with me :)

Thanks for your support! Great to *meet* you all
Welcome sister suzanne027, you are one of us! Let us know how you are doing
Happy Thanksgiving remember they are being well taken care of tommorrow and they have their new brothers and sisters to celebrate with, what more could they want (other then a hug from mom dad wife etc)

Well, it seems he has had 2 bunkmates get kicked out!! He passed swim qualification but failed his physicall assessment ( I wonder if that has anything to do with the down time from 2 wks w/o training?) He gets along great with many in his division . I just can't wait to see him and hear these stories from him!!
