51 signed up for dinner on Thursday, April 24th - Will you be joining us?

6 days to go ladies!!! Have you let me know how many seats to save for your family for dinner on Thursday night?

I have reserved a room for dinner on Thursday evening, April 24th @ 7 pm at the Full Moon Restaurant which is just down the street from the base. We will need to tighten up our head count on Monday.

We won't be able to see our sons and daughters until graduation itself so this will be our chance to get together and celebrate for them. Husbands, grandparents, girlfriends, children, etc. are all welcome to join in.

The website for the restaurant is - www.fullmoonopen24hours.com

If you would like to join us for dinner, please posted your name and head count with your ship and division # on this forum and I will try to keep a running total to submit to the restaurant the week before. We are hoping to make name tags (no promises) by screen name and division so everyone will know they have been chatting with.

Look forward to meeting everyone!

Wonderful Tricia, we will look forward to meeting everyone!
Have a cheers for me, April 25th is my birthday.

Big Smile
Mary this would be great - depending on our flight time _ not certain yet It would be myself, my father, and my 7 year old - I will get with Kayleigh's Dad and see let them know too. I will confirm with you the week prior if not sooner.
Great Maria, I think the more the merrier! We are all going to be over the top waiting for PIR to begin the next morning. I love that the families that have supported one another will get a chance to meet and celebrate our new sailors. Please try to let me know at least one week before hand, the list is filling quickly and I don't want to overwhelm the restaurant.
I'll be sure to let you know - it really doesn't get more exciting than this does it?SmileyCentral.com
Agreed! I think we are absolutely going to be a mess the closer it gets!!!
definately weeeeee
Yes I will be attending. If I already RSVP'd ignore me! I think I did on the other forum, but here goes again

My son is Bryan Div 164 Ship 14.

There will be four of us.
Kimberly
Got it Kimberly, look forward to meeting everyone.
Molly and I met at the Full Moon during PrePir 3/14/08. It was arranged by someone who made name tags and pictures of our boys. We were at different tables and it wasn't until after the meal was over, I saw her name tag. Oddly enough although my name is Dianna Lynn, those names were taken, and I because LynnDear which is how she knew me. We ran into each other during the weekend at different places with our sailors. I am envious, but have the greatest memories of our dinner. The food is great, good price, easy to find. But use your profile names, and profile pictures to get instant recognition. Have fun.
Hi LynnDear, Molly told me about meeting you at Full Moon and how wonderful it was. Knowing that your PIR date scheduled dinner here, I had told her that I was looking to do one for the 4/25 date. Molly did tell me about the name tags which I think is a wonderful plan and I am hoping to do something along that line so i've been trying to capture division and ship # as well as the recruits name. It may be an ambitous project as I think we are going to have a strong turn out, I think I have 25-30 committed now and we have almost 4 weeks to go but the restaurant said they could accomodate up to 80 and I say the more the merrier! Wish you and Molly were in our PIR, we've enjoyed chatting with you and now I suspect you have graduated to that "My son is in A school forum" !!! LOL
It was fun. Only about half the people came that said that they would. Some were delayed because of flights, lost, and bad weather. Also I had only found this site 2 weeks before before PIR. I was clueless. I have graduated to A school. But Wade's twin brother starts bootcamp in September, so I will be sticking around. Good luck.
