Hi Moms,
My travel arrangements are complete. I'm on extreme budget that I am trying to cut corners. I booked my nights at the Ramada at the meet and greet location. I'm aware of the musty smell, but unfortunately this worked for my pocket book.
GREAT NEWS FOR SHIP 02 DIV 907- The logo is complete with color. It came out really nice. This will be my gift to you gals for this division. I should have it scanned and sent to you email addresses by tomorrow. Feel free to use it anyway you like, tot bags, T-shirts, mugs. I wish I had the financial means to make the T-shirts for all my division,but I don't. Hopefully, you can put it to use. I will be going to a silkscreen guy tomorrow for my T-shirt. Please send me your email address so I can forward you the logo attachment tomorrow.
Looks like it is getting pretty chilly at Great Lakes... Wonder if they have a snow yet. Does anyone know how much they do inside vs. outside?
Moms...REALLY rough weekend...I don't like Dec anyway but yesterday was just TOO much. We were at the store and 'I'll be Home for Christmas" played...you guessed it TOTALLY lost it.A very kind clerk asked I was okay and I explained. She was so compassionate! Then (freakin' hormones). I watched "Pearl Harbor". In one of the attack scenes it showed a MM (my son's job) trapped underwater,one of the 1177 entombed in the *USS Arizona (can ya say IRONY...we live in AZ). My poor hubby was trying SO hard ALL day to keep me sane....dear God I hope these next 31 days go QUICKLY!!

Thankfully today is a better day. I realized that I will be on a plane in 30 days to go see my ManCub!! I am also thankful fo you Moms who UNDERSTAND exactly how I feel. (;
Hang in there bud;) I know its tough but we will get through this.:) Send me your personal email so I can send you a copy of the logo. Send it through my inbox. :)

Hello all,
Just found this site and group. My daughter is in ship 002, div 907. Glad to connect with you all.

Yes, I've learned a lot from reading the forum. Is everyone saving Christmas presents til PIR? Nailed down our flight from CA to IL, booked a room and rental car last night. Getting excited to see our daughter. Received three letters so far and glad to hear that she's thriving, passing all tests, except for the 1.5 mile run due to a bad sinus infection.
So glad to hear she is passing all tests!!!!
dh4hoy - welcome! Glad you are here. Please be sure and add your input in the actual PIR discussion too! Great that you are ready and organized....
