PHONE CALLS YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the flag was for academic- he said they took a big test today! My son got 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Monday too! If you knew how much money I have spent to go to special dentists to get him knocked out for simple procedures and they numb him and pull them- too funny!!
Hi Ladies I do not know if you have a t-shirt or anything going for your ship/div but I made this iron on transfer that I ironed on ribbon and then sewed it on blue silk scarfs. thought you might like. It turned out beautifully

PIR is Everything and I mean Everything you can imagine as far as what to wear. Mine was in summer and there were some girlfriends and wives in almost nothing at all - to nice suits and ties! I wore nice Jeans and a t-shirt - a bright color that my daughter and I both picked out and told him about so that he could find us in the bleacher ... hahaha boy did he ever find us he said... we wore flourescent green! You guys will need to dress warm that auditorium will be COLD! The doors are huge and open a lot!
Letter alert, lol. News for Division 038- They are going to be really busy this week, finishing Marlinspike, moving on to Firearms training and more marching. They have a Drill Assessment this week and it's their chance to get a second flag (wish I knew what the first flag was for). It snowed there Saturday around 6 inches. And my favorite line in the letter (because it shows he still has his sense of humor, not because of subject matter, lol) "The food is good but it gives you gas." This letter was dated Sunday 12/5 so info is for this week. They are on Week 3 Day 4 as of Today (12/8) .
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for the information... It is really helping his 7 year old sister as well as myself to know what is going on through other family letters!
Ms. Ampi can get the shirt for with PIR date on them --- lets do it... Lets help Ms Ampi with that silk screen cost and make the shirts 12.25 --- Im in for sure!!!!! Email her for info
My son is right there with your son! His name is Shane whats your sons name
temperess178- I sent you a friend request, add me and I will send a message to your inbox with my sons name. We aren't supposed to use names on these boards due to the fact that the RDC's read our posts and also for security reasons. Look forward to talking with you and welcome "aboard".
Hi everyone, I know some of you are getting scarves from New Horizons and shirts from Ms Ampi and that is awesome. And some of you are getting scarves & shirts from them and ribbons from me lol. You can never show too much pride right? Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that I am going to be mailing your ribbons next week. I want you to get them before Christmas that way we know you have them in time for your PIR. After you are finished wearing the ribbon as a pin you can take the pin off the back and put the ribbon in a scrapbook or shadow box. They make a great keepsake and are suitable for men and women. I hope you all are staying warm and having a great letter filled day :-) If you still need or want to order ribbons just send me a friend request or message. Thanks, Lala

Hello Ladies of Division 038. I am sooo happy that most of us got to talk to our recruits on Christmas. Talk about an awesome Christmas present, I still haven't floated back down to earth yet haha. I can't wait to meet all of you at the Meet n Greet. I don't know how I would have made it through this journey without your support and words of encouragement. I want to thank you all for being here for me and I have enjoyed sharing all our letters and experiences together.

I'm new to the group (becuase I just found Navyformoms). We were so excited to get a call from our daughter on Christmas Day.  Every time she had called before, I was at work.  It was so wonderfull to actually talk to her!!!!
