Hi, Someone suggested I let you all know about the ribbons for PIR. It is my understanding that New Horizons is making scarves for y'all to wear too and I think some people wanted to wear the scarves and the ribbons I make as well. The ribbons I make are about 5 to 6 inches tall on average. For security purposes they have the first name on them instead of the last, or you can get proud mom/wife/dad/etc instead of the name. The have the division number on the other side and they pin to you shirt or coat. Then they make a great keepsake and you can take the pin off and put the ribbon in a scrapbook or shadowbox. I have several orders from this DIV. Because your sailors are special OP's your ribbon will be black with gold or silver letters. Let me know if anyone wants one that has not ordered yet. You can add me as a friend and I will send you the info for ordering. Here are pics of what they look like. I plan on having these mailed to you before Christmas so that you get them in plenty of time. Thanks, Lala

Can't wait for mine to come! They look great !

Oh I didnt understand.  Ican't imagine choosing to get up at 430?

Bonnie  What are orders? Did he say how many guys in the division are SWCC?

Thank You ladies for sharing your letters. I was feeling pretty sad for a couple of days after no call and no letter this week. Hearing from your recruits has lifted my spirits. I know our precious loved ones are together and the news gives me a glimpse of what is happening there. They are so dedicated and persevering...What an amazing group of wonderful souls, they are so special and we are so fortunate...xoxoxoxoxo...gg

Hey does anyone have a son named G or W? My son decided to write his girlfriend instead of me.  boohoo

abita--- see lots of moms on here using a letter for their SR, so is that the first letter of the last name.  That's what I was thinking. If so mine is W.

I'm still trying to find "B"s mom, she's from California.

I can just hear the boys comments, about how the 2 mom's are trying to find each other on this site. He said that she is on here, too. I just don't know what group she is on. I would have thought she would have been here, or on the PIR date. I told R in my last letter, all the names I was using, and it ended up, that wasn't even the mom's name, it was the son's name.

Does anyone have any idea when they might be calling again?

Anybody get a call?

AmyB----No call here. I was hoping for one.
