i don't, but just wanted to say Congrats on the award!

Thanks very proud of her!

I'm thinking it would be her home town newspaper, but not sure. Congratulations to your daughter!!

I agree with Donna...I think it will be in her hometown paper.  Congrats to her!

Thanks  9 more days. Can not wait!!

Congratulations to your daughter.  I will think Chicago Herald.

Thank you

Our daughter was also an honor grad (PIR 11/05/2010). When we arrived at RTC, they took us into a briefing room where they gave us nametags, programs and newspapers. The newspaper was "Great Lakes Bulletin". Our daughter was mentioned on page 5. The nametags were color coded because when you are escorted out of the Drill Hall, the honor grads are on one end of the hall, and the other award winners are at the other end. I think our nametags were silver. Congratulations on your exceptional daughter.

Thank you

Also, you should be getting a letter from the commander of GL RTC telling you where to check in and at what time. You check in and go to the briefing room, because they have special seating right behind the RDCs for the award winners' families. They escort you across the Drill Hall to your seats after everybody else is already in the Drill Hall and seated.

If you want your daughter to be mentioned in your home town paper, it might be best to wait until after PIR so you can take a picture of her and the GL newspaper.

We just received our DVD of the PIR and have already watched it twice! I hope your daughter got one for your family; it is so worth the $29.00

I just got my letter today!!! Yeah!!
