H! My daughter shipped out the 23rd also. She's in Ship 11 Div 54! They're close!
My son Kevin is in Ship 7 Div 052. Welcome all.
Wow, she shipped out almost a week later and yet they are very close in Ship and Div. Guess they will PIR (graduate) together. Crazy how they figure out who goes where.
Charles. I wonder how they're dealing with life there. I hear (Naval Station on Facebook) that they got their first snow of the season today. Snow watch starts now I guess. Have you gotten any letters from Matt yet?
Hey Debbon, Matt's girl and Alice, my son left on the 16th and is ship 7 div 051. From what Lynne was saying 49& 50 train together and 51 & 52 train together. So it's very possible they are together.
Hi Div 52. I formed a group called SHIP 07 DIV 051 PIR 1/21/2011. I believe that both 51 & 52 train together so please come join in. We would love to have you!

Hi Alice.  My son is ship07/div052 pir1/21/11 also.  Navy.girlfriend is his girlfriend.  Good to hear there is a group for 052.  I didn't know, and attempted to start one which you replied to.  Seems responses alot from div 051 not alot 052??

Donna, I believe that div 52 actually trains with 51. Join us and we can all be together and share this experience. Have you recieved word from your son?

Hi; I am new to the group. My son Benjamin is Ship 07 Div 52

Hi Tobyswife89,

Welcome, I have Kevin who is in Ship 7 Div 052.  I'm sure they probably know each other but then again not sure considering I have no idea how many recruits are in each division and if they know each other by first name.

I actually just got off the phone from talking with my son. It was so nice to hear his voice after not talking with him in almost a month now.  Kinda hard to hold back the tears but I stayed strong for him so that he wouldn't feel bad.  After the call I started to cry.

So where are you from?

I just got off the phone with my son a little bit ago too. I had a hard time not crying too. I am from Ohio. I wish my husband would have been home to talk to him but he is having a really long day at work.
