Yesterday my daughter called, and I missed it! She called her dad too, and at least left a message for him. It was great to hear her voice, even on a message! When she didn't get either of us, she called her bio-mom and did talk to her. She said that today their third week. I thought they were already into their fourth week! She said they weren't allowed to call or send mail until yesterday. She received her first mail on Tuesday (I'm sure it was alot, we've all been writing!) She also said she's written a bunch, just couldn't send them and needs more stamps! She said they won't be able to call again until the last week before PIR. Did anyone else get a call? Letter?

Thats what my daughter told me about the next time she can call, her next scheduled call is on 01/21/2011, her birthday!!!!  I hope she calls sooner than that :(

karen 1/21/11 might be the day of battlestation that call might be the i am a united states sailor call

Also, my daughter Richelle is in same div and says she has two books of stamps, tell her to ask her for some stamps :)

I sent her 2 books of stamps, she probably hadn't gotten them yet!

Zip, zero, nada.  As of today I haven't received any mail or calls.  But for the very first time, one person in div. 057 just today got her first letter dated 12/12/10 and was sent on the 14th.  The rest of us are still working and can't go home to check !!!

Trying to stay positive.

wow that long for a next call =[ ill have to ask my boryfriend when he thinks he cn call again, i was hoping christmas. no mail yet for me this week, maybe tomorrow.. Penny im crossing my figures that you get mail tomorrow! at least we know now div 057 is alive!

It'll come! I thought we'd never hear from Jordyn, then tonight... mail!

We got a letter today! It was dated 12/8/10. Jordyn said she passed her swim test (which she was worried about). She also had two wisdom teeth pulled. I was so excited to get her letter. She also wrote a secon letter for her younger siblings. I didn't open that one because they are all with their grandparents. I am curious what she told them though, as they are only 7, 4, and 2. Jordyn said she is doing well and is adapting to the "strict and intense lifestyle". I am excited to hear what your loved ones write about!

maybe this week is div 057's week to call

Last week I believe it was 55 & 56 (I believe) so that means 57 & 58 this week !!!!  Positive thinking.

Well we are div 53, and our call came on the 15th. Hopefully you will get the call soon! We missed it, so be on lookout for an 847 area code. I;m hoping they will work really hard to earn an additional call home on Christmas! What a gift that would be!

I am actually a dad and a member of Navy Dads since before he left...but the truth is you Moms are awesome and communicate better than most dads. My wife has already been on N4M but I watch constantly on both sites and wanted to comment when it made sense to, since you accept dads as well...I joined. I got my I'm alive call today. Wow...was that even my son? He sounds like such a man...but he said everything is going well and loves his fellow sailors. Ship 11 Div 57 if your son or daughter is there...mine had high praise for them.
