Anyone else out there who has heard their recruit is Ship 09, Div 078?  Just got this info from the recruiter.  My son shipped out 12/14.

I was guessing the PIR date might be 2/18.  I think that the letter you received would be more likely to be correct which is why I want to be sure the recruiter has the right info.  Maybe we will get the letter tomorrow since you got yours today.  Thanks for the info!

I was hoping for my letter today but that didn't happen. I miss my son. He is my only child and we have never been apart for any holiday. I guess Monday will be my gift. Merry Christmas and God bless you all
Don;t give up hope for Chirstmas, He may be able to call. I pray he can. We have two children, and both are gone for the first time. It is difficult...

Hi everyone! My son is Ship 9 div 78 as well.  It's nice to see other moms on here too who's sons are with my son.  Makes me feel a little more connected.  From the looks of things the boys (men but still boys to me!) are a pretty geographically spread out group from coast to coast.  I think it will be an incredible experience for them honestly.  I also have to remind myself of this when I'm missing mine so much.

We're all in this together now.  This is one of the hardest times of year to be separated from those we love but I keep reminding myself of the incredible opportunities my son will be getting. Merry Christmas everyone!
