Hello All and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hadn't seen a group formed yet for our ship, so I thought I would start one (Ship 02, Div 911 - USS Reuben James (PIR Feb 4, 2011)) so we all can be in touch! We have a special connection with band, choir, and drill team!  It will be great to share our experiences, stories and plans to meet up for PIR in Feb!  I'm a new Navy mom, and missing my daughter greatly right about now (as I am sure we all are missing our loved ones!), but am so very proud.  Let's chat!

Good thought, Regina. Now ... how do we find the rest of our families from Div 911 so we can get them in on this too?!  ;o)
How many do we have aboard so far? you; Sherrys, Regina, Robyn(Texasmom), Rosie, who am I missing? Are you on Facebook?
aprilan, too! ... and, no, I am not on Facebook, but perhaps it's time for me to get on in there?!
oh yes, Aprilan too ;-)  Texas mom is on FB to. I am under Regina Strube, Sedona, AZ

:O Not on Facebook?!?!  hehe  I'm under Robyn Stevens, Hereford, TX

Oh yeah...and about that FB thing... ;o) I will check into that soon so I can join you all there, too!
What about navy slacks or jeans, red shirts and white scarfs?  Covers the whole red, white and blue patriotic theme.
Not a bad idea, Robyn...but it might be a bit easier to find a red scarf than a red shirt? (Although having to search for a red shirt would give me an excuse to go shopping!) ;op I'm open, though, and will be game whatever our group decides!

This is so much fun and it gives my mind something else to dwell on instead of "when, oh when will my baby girl call?!"
;o)
Regina suggested not having white scarves since they will get so dirty.  She thought maybe red scarves but another group was already talking red.  What about zebra print??? :D  I love me some zebra print lol  and we all could use a little retail therapy with all we are dealing with lol
woo hoo - cant wait to see the husbands in Zebra print - take pictures Sailor moms.rofl!!
Yes, I am on facebook.
LMAO-I don't have a husband so I hadn't thought of that.  Okay, soooooo take red from the other group?  Go with blue?  It's up to you guys, but that was funny as HELL! lmao
