My daughter is in SHIP 09 DIV 076, she left on12-14. I got the box and the form letter. But, no letter, no call as of yet. It seems alot of other loved ones haven't recieved word either. But if I'm remembering correctly, when her father was in BC (over 20 years ago), it took about 3 weeks to recieve anything from him. Just long enough to shake me up and make me think he had forgot all about me. LOL. Hang in there, it wont be long now.

Take care

Brandy

I know he hasnt forgotten me Ha Ha but it does shake me up! This is the longest we have been apart ever! And its just werid to not have my best friend here with me. Im crossing my fingers that I get a letter this week!!
my boyfriend call me on christmas. he is on ship 9 div 075 as well. he was the only one allowed a phone call though but he had to sing the little drummer boy in front of the whole division to earn it! he also said he had wrote letters and would be able to send them out the 26th! but i still havent gotten any.. im crossing my fingers to get one this week!!
Ha Ha! I know my husband would have NOT done that! He said he was going in and not drawing attention to himself! Thats so sweet that your boyfriend sang that just to get a phone call. I had my phone glued to me on Christmas day cause i was praying he would call. But it didnt happen. I hope we get a letter this week!! So what is your boyfreind going to A school for?
lol i cant believe he did do that and knew the words!! i know my phone has been glued to me all day everyday since hes been gone! cant wait to see that 847 number again! i hope we get a letter too i cant wait to see if hes gotten any of mine! hes going for master at arms. he goes to San Antonio, Texas after boot camp!
My son is on ship 09 div 72. Haven't gotten a letter from him. Wish I could here from him but I know he's doing well. I did get a phone call from him one week after he left. What a happy day that was. Good luck to you all.
I got my first three letters today! So excited!! But his Div is different on the envelope? I dont know which DIV to put on his letters!
Really what division does it say he's in that's weird!
He says in his last letter that he is in DIV 075. He was talking about how they share bunks with DIV 076. So im just going to keep writing 075 and I will find out wednesday if he gets my letters or not. Im sure he is getting them because he says he is in 075. So im not worrying i have done research and it says that even if they do switch his div as long as the address like the 3415 sailor dr is right then they will get it to him. Let me know if you get a letter too!! He told me about who he is bunked with. and that the drs there found that he has a stigmatism and he has to wear those weird glasses (poor thing) It really made my day getting those letters. I balled my eyes out because i waited so long!
yeah i have read stuff about that too that the letters will still get to them! which is good to know.. thatd be funny if our guys knew eachother! im sure they do! how will you know on wednesday if he got the letters...did he mention a phone call or anything? i reallllly hope i get a letter tomorrow! my fingers are crossed. i go to the mail box everyday so excited and when its all junk mail i get so disappointed!! aw poor thing ive seen those glasses in pictures that they make them wear! i will be reading the letters over and over and be crying!! what state do you live in? cause if you got a letter today i hope for mine.. im in florida.
I live in Florida as well. I live in Volusia county. He didnt say he was calling or anything but its supposed to be every Wed. that you get letters. Im thinking that everything is cool because either way there are not many DIV in there right now that start with 07_ and the ship number as well as the actual address. Plus his name too im sure that they can find who its going to. Im praying you get a letter. I swear i was reading the letters to my parents and i had both my mom and dad crying as well as me. It was just so wonderful to see that he is doing okay and not looking back on his decision. His bunkmates last name is Hydol and the guy next to him is some russian guy haha who he says has an awesome accent!
I live in Lee County.. Im further south than you then so ill just hope the mail didnt make it this far yet! Yeah especially because i read also that sometimes they get moved around alot to different divisions but the letters will still make it to them. im praying too, im gonna be next to that mailbox all day! aw its such an amazing moment all you can do is cry but its happy tears and sad ones at the same time! My boyfriends last name is Jaffray so its not either of them!
