hello, my son is in this division also, i have not received any letters from him since last week:) i was wondering if he has gotten his wisdom teeth out also.

deesmadre...The ones that got their wisdom teeth pulled got light duty.  They got to rest for 2 days and they didn't have to stand for hours upon hours.  You will have to let me know if it was your SR that got wisdom teeth pulled and let him know that my SR made his bed over and over again. :))

What it is, is that some people are book smart and some are street smart.  Some have no street smarts (common sense) but are very "book" smart.  That is probably what happened with our SR division.

Here is my email address if any of you want to email me directly and avoid the risk of RDC's getting info.  freak0105@hotmail.com.  Than we can exchange names of our SR's so when we write them we can ask them if they know so and so.

I am also on facebook which is a safer way to also communicate.  I don't befriend RDC's. If anyone is interested in communicating that way.
This is a great site and it is like getting another letter when you girls share. My son is 18 and I really hope he isnt one that isnt remembering everything. But just like the other lady about her sons teeth I kinda figure Zachs letters where on the floor. He joined the Navy to make himself a better man and I hope these situations do that.
Nervous today!  I woke up early, even though I didn't have to go to work, first thing I did was check my phone to make sure no calls were missed and checked the volume.  I am trying to stay busy!  I really hope they get to call today, although I am trying to keep myself from getting disappointed if they are not able to.  The more the day goes by the more I feel like they are not able to call.  I am going crazy here!  LOL
I hope they dont call till after dinner, so we all can be home to talk to him.Our SR has a little sister that is 3 and a little brother that is 8. And his little sister misses her big brother tossing her around.  Did you know we get to spend the weekend with them after graduation?
Yeah, that's why I am off today, because we have a 3 year old son who wants his Daddy back home, and I know he wants to talk to him!  I hope we do get the weekend after graduation!  I am afraid that my husband will be grad and go though, because his A-School (as of now) is in Great Lakes and from what I have read they are grad and go.  Another bad thing is that if they are able to get the weekend, they still have to report back to base by around 9pm.  So they are not able to sleep in the hotel with us; I miss my husband's arms around me when I sleep!
I bet you do!! It will all be worth it in the end!! I hope your husband doesnt have to grad and go. Zach goes to florida.
Me too!  Daniel may have to go to FL if he changes jobs (he hasn't decided as of last letters, but was given the opportunity).

Ready girls??  I just got an email from deesmadre and her son called her at 0845 this morning at her work!  She wanted me to let all moms in this division know that her son said they are getting calls tonight starting at 1700 (5pm)!!!  keeping fingers crossed, but you know the Navy.  Oh, sorry forgot to mention the reason her son called this morning was he needed some clearance information from her.  He wasn't able to talke about anything other than what he was told.  He did tell her though 1700 for calls home.

Yipee!!!!  I can't wait!!!!!  Any idea on how long they will get to talk??
Just got 7 letters!!!!  Yipee!!!  My husband sounds a lot more upbeat in these letters!  :D
