Hey Elizabeth. :)

We are staying at the Spring HIll Suites, or something like that.. it's about 3 miles from the base, so hoping being close will help with me not knowing where I am going once I get there~! :)

Stacie

Hello Stacie!

Luckly i'm going with my father in law and he's been a truck drive for a long time so he knows the roads in Chicago pretty well. I lucked out. I'd be competely lost!!

Thank Heaven for GPS!

I was so ecstatic to recieve my first letter!! Everything seems to be going good over there.

I miss him terribly!

I've been hearing some of the other moms have been getting phone calls at their SRs 1 month mark!

I hope we get one!!!!

So happy that you got a letter.  I know that you have been waiting, 'patiently' for some time now :)

I wondering if they will get a call at their actual 1 month.... ?  Or their 4-1... which would be 3 weeks from now. ???  Hope the first option. :)

Stacie

I really hope it's the one month mark!! :D

Kathy,

that is good to know... although I have already made our travel plans.  But that is a good question to ask.

Glad you got your letter, seems to be a big day for 1st letters. :)

Stacie

My husbands mother got two letters.

So I made my brother drive out to get mine. I got four! Well one was a benefits thing. But anyway, he swears now, weird.

Stacie, what has your Dallas been teaching my Brandon???

Haha just kiddng. Glad we all got a little something. More about what he said a little later, Grey's is on!

OMG! I hope nothing bad! :(  We don't even say shut-up here at the house! :)

Glad you got your letter. :)

My husband told me that he will have liberty the 16th to the 22nd. I called public affairs and they said that's not true, I think it also depends on when he's flying to A school. When I called they told me that recruits usually fly out on saturday. I hope they get liberty on monday!

That means i'll have to change my reservations.

:)

I'm starting to feel really lonely. Not so much depressed. Just blah.

:(

Elizabeth,

I am sorry that you are feeling that way.  I hate that.  My mother passed away a couple months ago, and this has been a really hard time for our whole family. But having 6 kids, I have to kind of put on a smile and go on like nothing is wrong.

Talk to us if you want a pick me up!  We are here to listen.

Thanks for being here to talk to

:)
