is doing ok..He is ready to see us for sure he said, He said he has been breaking out in hives when they do a specific run in a specific area,, he threw up twice,, So he is not sure,, maybe overheating???? He ran avidly here so he is use to running.. I asked him if he told the RDc since he was in hives and red and he said "yea adn he told me to clean up my throw up and get running" hahahahahahaha I said well thats BC for ya!

He has passed all his test so far,

THey did get in trouble, they had their stuff searched I guess while they were doing some training and when they came back everything was thrown out and thier leaders(?) had them do the hour of IT. He said it sucked!

He does know all the 804 names I have given but all of them are on the other side of the ship so they dont get a chance to really meet.

BUT this is for BB.... he said your sons bunk mate came and asked him if he was *************. I laughed and i said cause I know his mom on N4M and she must of told him your name too , he laughed and said I was wondering?/ Hahahhaha he even pronounced all yours names better then I could!

He said they eat 3 times a day and most of the time he is not hungry cause they are so tired but he eats cause he its there and he doesnt want to get hungry later.

He does iron in the middle of the night.

One test they did was to some training with some "motivators" and they had to dive in 55 degree water then they had to go to another pool that was at 33 degrees and start with the toes and slowly do specific body parts as told until they reached the shoulders.

We got 14:32 that call and then the 2 minute teaser right before that... You could hear the RDC yell ONE MINUTE and then it was LETS GO!! LETS GO!!

I have to be honest when he called the first time, I was in the middle of replying on here and when I saw the 847 area code,, I answered and started crying. I quickily regained my composure knowing I needed to stay strong and not waste any time. I have cried off and on tonight because I know he is frustrated.

I am so happy we got our calls. Doulak, my son to said the same thing said they had some guys that just didn't seem to care which was agrivating to the rest of them because like your son said they just thought one day it would be a noval idea to be a SEAL. as they say the process weeds out the ones that's heart is not truely in it. stay strong Ladies

and invade we will!

My son is in Ship 04 Div 804. Can't wait for graduation!!!  Anyone have recommendations on which hotel is the best to stay at?

HI Marianne....did I FB you? Your name sounds familiar.

I know there is the Springhill Suites Marriott, Residence Inn, Ramada (heard mixed on that one). I only looked into those 3.  Be sure to tell them you are attending PIR and they have a graduation discount on rooms.

Also on the comment wall on 2/11/11 there are a bunch of discussions, there is one about the yellow

scarfs for our division.

Welcome to our group and I will PM you on your email.

Welcome Marianne, I am sure you will soon enjoy this sight as much as the rest of us. everyone on here is so helpful and usually someone will answer a question before you can think to ask it which is a good thing. hope your on is doing well
Hi..... My current boyfriend is in Ship o4 Div 804 I am new could you guys help me learn the ropes and maybe give a little advice for how to dress for graduation??

Hi Jessie,,,, you made it over! ;)

On the discussion board there is a link on that,, maybe even two. But being that it is cold, you will want to stay away from dresses or skirts, Nice jeans, slacks,, sweater?  Dress in layers.  I know the PIR is inside so you can peel off a layer or two.  I have heard to wear under armour or cuddle something? Someone here will know the name. LOL

Lets just pray we have nice weather that week we are there and no wind!

Ok I looked but I was on my Ipod then and I kinda got lost on that thing so I found a computer and I am up and running .. kinda :D I went to Chicago and compared to South Dakota if you are in the city the wind isn't  that bad!

Hey all.... has anyone ordered ribbons from either Aprul or La La? I was wondering about putting the names on them and how you did it?  Not that anyone really knows our sons but just a thought?

Got letters!

Quick run down..

weeks are going by same speed, depending on what they are doing. They are getting easier and a lot less yelling, everyone is getting it dow. He is use to not much sleep and running on 6 hours of sleep and put hahahahaha.

But over all will be happy when its all over . He said the letters and cards he gets are really helping him through each week. He really missed everyone and could not wait to see us in Feb!

I changed my flight last night from leaving Sunday to leaving on Monday..I even ended up with a 92.00 refund by changing it so I was pretty happy with that.

I thought if he gets any "watch" then I dont want Sat to be my only whole day with him so.....having Sunday to will be so nice!

Husband wil be calling in sick that day, hahahahahahhahahaha

I got a letter today to mine asked if I remembered him telling me about them going in the cold water and that the other day they had to get in the 44 degree water and swim with just there udt shorts on he said it was great but a little harder to swim side stroke because you had to breath heavier lol. that was pretty much it other then for me to tell dad they had fish the other night and it was nothing like his. mamawalrus that is great you saved money by changing your date.
