After PIR Pizza with SRs that have asked for Pizza on liberty.  Let's discuss times, interest, etc.  This discussion came about in the main room, because it seems as though several SRs have requested Chicago Deep Dish Pizza while on liberty.  I'm going so what the heck, more the merrier!  I'm super flexible on times because it will be just me and my SR.

 Update:  January 15, 2010

Giordano's seats approximatley 70 people and they do not take reservations.  Bummer...we had great group ready to go.  I am personally heading over there after PIR and after a stop at the NEX with my SR.  I'm prepared to wait to be seated and hopefully some of you will be there too!

Hello!  I will check with our son to see what he'd like to do.  If it's pizza, we will join you!
Same here. I will check with my SR after PIR to see what he wants to do. I also have to share him with his father but I think this decision will be my son's. So if you need a head count it could be 4 or 6 and maybe.

So I just called Giordano's....they don't accept reservations.  The restaurant seats 70 and they typically are busy on Fridays with the PIR groups coming in.  I was advised that we should pre-order Pizza's.  I don't know about doing that because we are all wanting to keep plans loose.  Ultimately we are going to do what the SRs want.  My SR will be the boss that day.

I know I want time after PIR to go to the NEX and buy some Navy gear.  I think after that, we'll catch the shuttle back to Ramada, grab the car and head to Giordano's.

That sounds just like our plans, Gina...guess we will know more after PIR concludes...
My SR wants pizza as well.   I have to share him with his dad, BUT.....MOM rules!   Anytime should be fine with us. =)
dunno about us.  my sr's a grad & go so he has to check into his a-school there RIGHT after pir.  and it could take up to 5 hours!!!!  so we'll probably just wander around base and see if our old navy housing is there lol.  dad's retired navy and i have my ID now.  if we can, we might see about it tho.
