Hi Brittany.  My name is Kim and my son is also slated to graduate on the 18th.  I was kind of surprised by how hard it has been not having him at home.  I can only imagine what you must be going through with your husband gone.  Things seem to be getting better since  I also have gotten one phone call and some letters.  Stay strong!!
Thanks and you do the same as well.... Did you make travel arragements yet??
I did.  We are flying in the day before and staying in Gurnee across the street from the Six Flags.  Wish the weather was warmer so we could ride some coasters :-).

Hi Brittany! Welcome to the group :)

I've been doing better than I thought! Overall I have had an OK time with it. It's not the most fun thing to do, but I am dealing with it. There are good days and bad days, but there are good days and bad days when he's home too. I've been trying my best to keep busy to pass the time.

Hi Brittany, welcome to the group, I am a navy girlfriend and i love him and miss him just the same. It has been really hard, some days are harder the others. The way i've been dealing with it is just trying to stay busy. Nights are the hardest, but I am getting better. I honestly never thought it was going to be this hard, but I am dealing with it the best I can. I am the same as u, i usually get letters on thursdays and I have gotten two phone calls since he left. My boyfriend is scheduled to graduate on Feb. 18th too.  But yea just keep busy, thats about all you can do to have time pass by.
