Pench@  Oh man, my heart sank reading your post.  I just dont know what to even say and I wish we could all be there to help you through this!   I agree with ProudUSA to honor your moms wishes, even as difficult as it may be!  I do beleive that deep down she may not always know whats going on but has a connection that she is being taken care of and that you love her!  You are a very strong women Pench and dont ever think any differently.  You will make the right choices as they are presented to you and your son will be so proud of you and how you have maintained through all this.  Soon and very soon you will be able to talk to your son!

What a thoughtful thing the buddy did!   Be sure to write that to your son and let him know... he will appreciate that!  I will keep you in my prayers!!!

Only one of my sons guy friends have written him,,,,the other he wrote when they were in BC but guess it is not a mutual compromise. A few of his friends that are girls have written him.  Hard thing to learn as you grow up and find your true friends but I know he will make stronger friends in the NAVY and form a bond that will last a lifetime!

Proud USA Mom OOOOHHHHH you made me tear up. I am happy my son told you Hi Gosh I miss him, he is such a good Kid. I am so glad our son's are together, makes it even better to know that we are talking on here and they know this and are friends there. WOW!

my son's best friend came over yesterday and brought me a gift, he gave me a big circular stepping stone that has the Navy Crest carved into the top of it. it is awesome. you all will get to meet him at the meet and greet he is air force rotc.

now for some more hard news for my family, went to dr yesterday with my mom and he told me she is slipping fast, told me I will have to make some very hard decisions over the next few months and basically we will spend a lot more time in and out of the ER and dr offices because she is starting to have trouble swallowing her pills which will lead to a feeding tube due to her parkinson's which brings on the delima of what to do because she has a living will and does not want life support of any kind. uuuggghhh just keep me in your prayers.

21 more ladies this time next week we will be 14 days wow super excited about that

thanks I to know things happen for a reason and I am very blessed as is my son to have such a good friend as well as girlfriend. she text a little bit ago to tell me she was coming over in a little while. I would be lost with out them and they both are coming to PIR with us. hang in there we are almost there just 22 more days
Pench- So sorry to read what you are going through, You will do the right thing, One thing that I have lived by and taught my children is more often than not doing right thing is usually the hardest! If there is anything that I can do to help you know where to find me!

I was going through a difficult time a few months ago and had to make some tough decisions, which weighed heavily on my heart.  As I sat and pondered and wondered if I was making the right decisions, an acquaintance friend posted this thought on Facebook “If you can't figure out the right thing to do...pick the hardest and most painful...that's normally it.”  She wasn’t sure why she posted this, but her timing was nothing less than perfect.

Well my husband informed me yesterday that we will go to PIR, and made our travel arrangements, So we'll see you guys soon. Can't wait!
