This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During the 12 hour overnight drill, they encounter every situation that they might face when deployed on a ship.  It is a night of adrenaline and focus.

Up to 4 divisions can go at once, but sometimes only 2 or 3 go.  Brother divisions go together.  800 and 900 divisions go randomly.  They start with the lowest numbered divisions and move up.  They can start on the Thursday night, a week before PIR.  They skip Fri and Sat nights because of Captains Cup on Saturday (athletic competition between divisions...fun for them!).  They can resume BattleStations Sun-Wed nights during PIR week. Something a Chief said about Battlestations:

150-300 SRs go at a time, 3-10 of them will fail and have to repeat it, the most important thing is TEAMWORK. If the SRs keep their mouths shut, listen, and work as a team, they should pass.

The brother divisions in this PIR group are:

63+64, 65+66, 67+68, 69+70, 71+72, 73+74

804

912

"I'm a Sailor" phone calls will start to come in the day they finish, usually starting around 2 pm GL time and going into the evening.  They may need to complete PIR practice first so be patient.  Some may have watch and won't call until the next day.

When you get a BattleStations date from your recruit, post it here and I will add it to the schedule.

HOOYAH!

*****BattleStations Schedule******(they start late at night and continue through the next morning which is why there are 2 dates posted)

Wow!  You are catching on quickly to these crazy BattleStations schedules.  You may be right!  And, yes, they do sometimes go on Wed nights, which as you said, is cutting it close...but in some groups, they have to.  Then the poor families get the I'm a Sailor call while in transit to Great Lakes...and some miss it if on a flight.  And, yes, sometimes the 900 groups go alone, but most of the time, they don't.  So time will tell!  I have a feeling that one of your proposed schedules is correct!  We shall see!

tls just posted in the Div. 073 group that her SR mentioned they are scheduled to run BS Tues. 8th/Wed. 9th! Which means Div. 074 will be running then also!
Dianne.. do you know if the 80o division runs theres alone or with another group?
I'm not sure, mamawalrus.  I don't know how they divide them up within BattleStations. We aren't supposed to ask questions about BattleStations.  They go the same night as 67 and 68, but not sure how they are divided up once in BattleStations.
My SR is in a 900 division.  Do all of the 900 divisions go together or seperate?
They can do either.  Tag on to 2 brother divisions or go alone. Hoping someone can give us a date for them so I can add them to the schedule!
Any info when Div 72 has their battlestations?  Enjoy all this info and people who can relate to what we are feeling....thanks for all the posts!!!

No news on 71 and 72 yet, larrysmom, but please post if you hear anything.  They will be going together for sure as brother divisions.  I will add to the schedule when we have a date.  It could be Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday for them.

Thanks so  so much....you have NO idea how helpful this is...will let u  know if i find out any info and post so others can know too.....
Thanks so much!  That will be a great help!
Thank you for posting this!!
Does anyone know when DIV 070 will do their battlestation?
