what and where is the meet and greet?
Hi: My son is in this Division also. I received several letters and two phone calls. I missed one and felt terrible. He is doing good. I am staying at the Red Carpet Inn in North Chicago it is real close to the Recruit Center and provides a bus to it on graduation day.
Happy New Year! Did all of you get a call from your SR yesterday? I've been told of a few had, I also got a call! It was the best present I have had all year. The great way to start off a new year. I hope I get more letters today or soon!
got it yesterday!
My brother is in this ship and division :) we got a call on the 31st, I agree, it was the best present!
We got a call on the 31st. That is all I needed to hear his voice. I was soooo happy!
It looks like we (there are 6 of us) will be staying at Homewood Suites in Lincolnshire (2 bedroom suite that can sleep as many as 8. One bedroom is a king bed, the other bedroom has 2 doubles and there is a living area, with full kitchen that has a pullout double sleeper sofa. The property also offers a full breakfast buffet, an indoor pool, gym and is very close to the Naval station for $179 a night).  We just contacted the travel agent to book the room :)
Sounds really nice!!!!
Hello, I know I have posted this in my other posts, but I wanted to put it here as well.  My brother is in this division and wrote in his last letter that he would "probably" be able to make a phone call on the 11th (1/11/11).  I am not sure if that means everyone in his division will be able to make a call but wanted you all to know, just in case.
My son is in this ship/div.  I've received a letter from him (besides the form letter) and was saddened by missing a call from him last weekend.  Hoping he gets to call again today.  I booked, but I'm Army Guard retired and am able to stay on base.  I'll be driving from WV.  Hope they do get to call again today!!
No call this weekend. Really felt bad about missing the call last week.  So maybe the 11th?  Anyway, sure look forward to talking to him.  Did anyone hear from their loved one this weekend? Thanks, Heidi
Heidi, we did not get a call this weekend.  I am sorry you missed your call, I sure hope you (and we all) get a call soon!  I am really hoping they get to call tomorrow like my brother said!
