tobias peeked to early. I can't wait to see the pictures once they get all this love.

But he wont say a thing ----- he is like a little kid at christmas , has to peek huh.  LOL LOL but I know he is keeping this a secret from the brothers and sisters

and gotcha on the count

130 lincoln , 14 for all others at the moment

not all the Illinois boxes are going to the Lincoln I don't know the count ...but at least 5 a piece are going to the other ships....Pat has the numbers
I know Pat had asked about how to maybe divide up the boxes. I am not sure where the happy spot might be for all the ships. I know that majority of the boxes will be shared. Which is fine, I think it will add to the fun. I was thinking that we need to get the box count for the main group on the Lincoln up. They will be sharing boxes and it will at least give them a better ratio of sailors/box. Just my thinking. I will go with what everyone thinks is best.
I have gotten some word from Tobias (contact) and he has thing well in hand for the plan on his end of this endeavor. He has just now clued in the smaller detachment contacts and has asked they all keep things secret. I still think they are going to just be in awe when all those boxes start arriving. He has a plan in place so that the junior sailors will get boxes first. He wants everyone to have fun but he also wants to make sure the young guys get the fun first. Just so happy right now. My pills work on my head and I am all teary eyed. I will be sending the Mayor's letter nicely framed and include in the same box  some custom made beads. They are for those that Tobias feels can really use the memento to take with them. They are special MAS creations and each is unique. I may have been unable to walk but I can still keep my hands busy when my brain does wake up. lol. Wonderful happy thoughts to all. I am so proud to be a Molly Mom and know so many amazing women!
I am sending 10 boxes to Lincoln tomorrow -- 3 female and 7 male.  ;))

140 to the Lincoln, and 14 each smaller ship.

Thank you LindaA

I ended up sending 6 male and 2 female. I had stuff left over and it needed a home on the Lincoln ;)

Hey all!!

I am back and working on catching up... started at the front of the thread and should have started at the end... knew you would all keep track of things while I was gone!!  Can't wait to hear from the ship when they start receiving all the mom love!!

Please let me know Susan whats the actual count here, hoping I am correct
Ladies, I am so proud to be part of such a wonderful group. I see those totals and every time I end up with tears in my eyes.
I agree Nancy! I am so glad my son joined the Navy! I wouldn't have the support team that I have in another branch. Thank you all for letting me be a part of such a wonderful group!
