Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

Now that I have everything arranged I'm ready.  Spending a couple of days in downtown Charleston with just the husband of 24 yrs. before the rest of the kiddos fly in on Thursday for graduation.

I AGREE!

Although April is going to come SO fast!! I have so many scholarship applications to fill out before February 15th!! WHERE IS THE TIME GOING??

haha I'm feelin' this time crunch too. Can't wait for it to be here but man, i don't think i'll be prepared for everything I have due!
I am getting excited now.  I have purchased our air line tickets, made reservations at the villas, reserved a spot for the dog at the kennel and made arrangements for my other kids that weekend.  My son is excited too for us to visit and making plans to show us the town.  Just under 3 months to go.
We are staying at the villas also (#503).  I have reservations at a Bed & Breakfast for the Tuesday & Wednesday night , then we move to the villas on Thursday.  Thursday night I'm cooking chili and tamales at my son's request.  Said he was tired of trying to explain to friends what tamales were so we are going to show them!  And you Texas mom's NO I'm not going to make tamales there, I'll bring them frozen and warm them up.
By the way, I learned this little factoid the other day. Since they had 2 weeks of Christmas stand down during Power, they now have a week less to learn everything, which also means that they have to learn everything just that much faster. I just have no idea why they couldn't just make graduation a week later...

Because it's the Navy... That's why! :)

I need to get on Aaron about that Villa thing. Hopefully there's still one available!!

Thanks, Zazzws! It's coming so soon! :)

Aaron got the Villa booked this weekend!!

I'm starting to get VERY excited about graduation! :)

How are all your sailors doing?

Doing good.  Very pumped up for this school.  Has anyone heard that they will be given leave after graduation?  Heard some "wisps of info" on this but my son has not confimed anything. (I guess because I never remember to ask him :))

Remembered to ask my son about leave.  Here's how it went:

Heard you have leave after graduation

Yes mam. (He's a Texas boy)

When and how much do you get

 no idea and no idea

So much for information!
