This is the final test for your recruits.  When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During the 12 hour overnight drill, they encounter every situation that they might face when deployed on a ship.  It is a night of adrenaline and focus.

Up to 4 divisions can go at once, but sometimes only 2 or 3 go.  Brother divisions go together.  800 and 900 divisions go randomly.  They start with the lowest numbered divisions and move up.  They can start on the Thursday night, a week before PIR.  They skip Fri and Sat nights because of Captains Cup on Saturday (athletic competition between divisions...fun for them!).  They can resume BattleStations Sun-Wed nights during PIR week. Something a Chief said about Battlestations:

150-300 SRs go at a time, 3-10 of them will fail and have to repeat it, the most important thing is TEAMWORK. If the SRs keep their mouths shut, listen, and work as a team, they should pass.

The brother divisions in this PIR group are:

63+64, 65+66, 67+68, 69+70, 71+72, 73+74

804

912

"I'm a Sailor" phone calls will start to come in the day they finish, usually starting around 2 pm GL time and going into the evening.  They may need to complete PIR practice first so be patient.  Some may have watch and won't call until the next day.

When you get a BattleStations date from your recruit, post it here and I will add it to the schedule.

HOOYAH!

*****BattleStations Schedule******(they start late at night and continue through the next morning which is why there are 2 dates posted)

Prayers to all the SRs turning into Sailors today!!
Ok, schedule is updated!  Hope we are correct now! Looks like no new sailors today, Lexsmom...but hopefully 4 divisions full tomorrow!

Thank you for the updates.  Hopefully the call will come tomorrow.  Is the delay due to the blizzard yesterday?

We are not sure if there even was a delay but were confused by no calls today.  So thinking that maybe the blizzard could have backed the first 2 groups up.  We are telling everyone with sailors in 63-68 and 804 to be ready tomorrow for calls just in case!
not sure if we should even change the schedule above until after tomorrows call from someones sailor... then we will know.

Now we know how witch doctors feel trying to explain why the Sun did not

go behind the moon as we predicted, and how to predict the next eclipse.

:-)
I think you're right....I'm going to put questionmarks on it for now...as I've been telling everyone on the main board...all from 63-68 and 804 should be ready for calls today just in case.  It is just highly unusual that if 4 divisions went on Wed night, none of them got to call home yesterday---never seen that happen before...strange....

U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command

No Battle Stations dates are set in cement; the dates can change at any time for whatever reason.

This was posted this morning on facebook page.

Yep, I agree!  That applies to anything in the Navy!  We shall see who has completed them today!
Thanks for all you do diannep, I was laughing at my own emotions, not being critical :)
You are very welcome...and I know what you meant and I thought it was funny too!  AND....criticism is welcomed anyway...because that is how I learn different ways!  Learning experiences through N4Ms!  HA!
