My phone is stuck in my hand, waiting for his call!!!  I also saw my son's picture in the PIR from jan 28!!  Himmiemom, can your son teach my son to write as often as yours does!!!!  (haha)  Thank goodness for N4M that I get the information that I need to know.  I'm looking forward to meeting you and the other moms and families!

Question:  There's not a specific color or anything that we should wear for out Div?  Just wondering...............

Our divisions color is brown.  A lot of us are wearing Yellow scarves for N4M and have integrated brown into our divisions scarves.  Other divisions have different colors in their yellow scarves.
Heyy guys I got a phone call at excatly 215 I spoke to him for an hour I am so excited div 912 went last night and he's doing gd tommorow they have a relaxing day get to use the internet and watch t.v so gd luck to everyone and prayers to all hooyah!
Got my phone call at 2pm Great Lakes time!!! We got to talk for an hour!!!!! I'm on cloud nine!!!!

Got the call from my super tired sailor!

He said the division only lost 3 points, so passed with a 4.97 score out of 5

He said he didn't order the full photo package, so I strongly suggested he go change his order and do so ;-)

He expects to have his liberty briefing today, and he'll be able to give us the full scoop when he sees us.

He's slightly bummed because they don't get to sleep til 8pm tonight, and he has to stand watch at midnight.

Regarding liberty... does anyone know if they are allowed to leave the base on their own, or do they need a "buddy"? We are staying in downtown Chicago Friday and Saturday, and I'm not sure whether one of us will need to arrange to take the Metra up and meet him every morning during liberty.

They can leave the base for liberty, but must be with a buddy, from what I have been told.  Congrats to your sailor!  You can order more pictures at the NEX after PIR also...line may be long though so it would be nice if he could do it before then.
My son has watch at 8pm tonight so he will have been up 38 hrs before he can close his eyes!
Got a letter today and a call from him today!!!! Double bonus.  He is a Sailor and so is the rest of division 912.  He said it was awesome and they got the teamwork together just in time last night.  Everyone is drinking Red Bulls and eating candy.  It sounded good to hear the energy in the background.  Oh, his RDC knows who I am on N4M.  So it is true that they do check on here.  They were teasing him about my funny posts and asked him if we had an Himalayan cat.  So you do have to be VERY careful what you post.  They want to make sure that the SR or Sailors now aren't talking about stuff that they are not suppose to be talking about.  HOOYAH!!!!!!  Oh, they also placed 2nd in the all male division for CC.

See?  That is what we try to tell everyone!  That is also why we try to discourage people using their SR's first name on here...I know that the RDC's probably have a blast trying to figure out who belongs to whom...but sometimes they do!  Maybe you should have had a donkey as your icon, and when they had asked your son---do you have a donkey?---he would have had no idea what they were talking about!  :-)

Congrats to your new sailor!

They didn't give him a hard time about the things I posted on N4M.  They asked him after showing him the profile picture of my Himalayan cat if this was his mom.  He said "yes sir".  They went on to say that he wasn't in any kind of trouble and they said that I posted a lot. I told him that we moved over to fb to avoid this issue till after PIR.
You were one of those who posted only positive good things.  I have seen others on other groups who were very "loose lipped"----one actually even posted an RDC's name and bad comments about him, quoting what her hubby (the SR) said!  Another lady commented on that by saying that when she saw the RDC at PIR, she needed to kick him in the ----."  Needless to say, there was a hugh broohah on here to remove the posts immediately!  The FB thing is a good idea, but of course any info you share won't be experienced by all looking on this group.  But the privacy issue is better!
Do any of you guys have a Sailor leaving for Pensacola after PIR?
