Did your son say anything about being able to write you?  Mine said he may be able to write next Sunday.  I don't know if that means this coming Sunday or the next.  It was post dated 2/8/11 but who knows when he wrote it.

My fiancee shipped on 1/31 and is in Ship 11 DIV 115 also!! Got the box last Saturday and the form letter yesterday! I was sooo excited! I cried and started jumping up and down in the street. (My neighbors probably think i'm crazy!) I'm glad I've found others on the same boat as me! Nice to know my soon-to-be hubby is making friends with your recruits! SO proud of all he's doing!

If I dont get my letter today I'm gonna scream. LOUD. lol- im soooo glad for each of you guys though thats awesome!! :)
You'll get it soon! It'll make you SOO happy! It was SO nice to see his hand writing and he misses me! :))
I got mine yesterday.. Sorry I didnt post all of this Valentines Day crap has me feeling down. I ran into WalMart for dish soap today and almost had a meltdown (no worries I didnt bite anyone and nobody called the cops lol) I think my quality of life will go up drastically when I finally start getting my letters already lol.. Hope you guys all had a good weekend and im glad some of you guys are hearing from your SR's!!!

Clay'sgirl - Valentines Day is killing me too! :((( This sucks!  Of all 365 days in the year and it has to be Valentines Day! What the heckkk!? Rrr! I'm officially changing my Valentines Day to April fools! And April fools is now February 14th!!!!

So it just dawned on me... My trade off for not having my boyfriend today is that.... I get to date a US SAILOR!! How incredibly cool is that!! I never thought Id date someone in the military.... I have a sudden urge to do all of the cheesy things I've always seen in the movies.. Wonder if I could convince him to waltz?! hmmmm
As soon as anyone gets a letter- post please.. I am very anxious, hopefully THIS will be the week!!
I know I can't wait for that first letter or better yet a call...I'm hoping on Sunday????
Has anyone received a letter from your SR yet?! :( I'm still waiting!
no letter here yet waiting impatiently...timing wise I think from what I read they might be able to write this Sunday...fingers crossed maybe a call??????
Thursday!  Got my first letter. Even though my son is in 116 he states that 115 and 116 are "brother" divisions (I am guessing that they are smaller than normal so they are sharing RDC's).  In his letter he said that his bunk mates are the jokers and have caused some extra PT... but three guys in 115 got major IT... when it was over 2 of the guys couldn't move.  Sometimes, if you get personal IT, you can lose the privilege of getting or sending mail. This first two weeks they only got their private time on Sundays to write letters. When you write your letters, ask them if they have gotten a Nickname yet... it seems some get them earlier than others. Once we have those we can identify them faster between us.  Be sure and check on 116 for any information as well, I will try and post on both places.  Let me know if you think we should go ahead an create a brother division for these two.  He wants the days to fast-foward and get to the end already. Hahahaha!
