2-14-11 Rec'd form letter today!  Great to even get a paragraph from my recruit.  I didn't even have to decode it, like I do the text messages I receive. lol
Received the box today. I was a little upset we were home all day long and we went out side to leave this afternoon there it was sitting on the porch. No one rang the doorbell nothing. Well its here and next is the info letter I can't wait.

Wow - it is amazing to see how many people cannot get information from their loved-one's recruiter. My son left for the Navy on 2/8/11 and his recruiter asked me to contact him for his address. He left Tuesday and the recruiter gave it to me on Thursday. I have not received my box yet, but at least I ahve been able to start sending letters. Something doesn't seem right if some will give it out and others won't. It just doesn't make sense.

I hope for a speedy journey through boot camp for all of our loved ones. I have been happy to find this site. It has helped me tremendously.

No box today either......... I am hoping for a nice Valentine's Day gift of my Daughter's dirty clothes!!! Cross your fingers for me! :)  What about you  Overtheedge65? Have you gotten a box yet?
Heathersmom~yes I did on Thursday I think?? I have nothing else though :(
I still have not gotten the box or the address :(

My son left for Boot Camp on Monday the 7th.  I don't have the address for him yet either.  I am going to contact the recruiter first thing on Monday.  I didn't realize we could get it from them so soon.   I received his stuff in the mail yesterday but no letter or information.

My daughter flew out on Wednesday.  Got the official "I'm here" call at 5:30pm PT.  I was able to get her address, ship, and division from her recruiter Friday afternoon.  No box yet, but I'm sure it will be here on Monday.
Proudnavywife~yes the box came very quick! I was shocked when the doorbell rang. My sons plane took forever to take off. He originally called at 2:00 to say he was at airport, but the plane did not part till 9:25 that evening. He arrived at boot camp 1:30am & haven't heard from his since...

Hi everybody!  I got my son's address, or supposed address, from his recruiter on the 10th, my son left on the 7th. So the day I got the address, I had already written 3 letters to him, so in total I sent him four letters to this address. Well, yesterday I get his form letter with his "correct" address on it. Ugghh...I am hoping that it will get to him either way because the division and ship number are correct but the "street address" is not.  Not sure how the recruiter got the wrong address.

I wonder if someone else addresses the envelope for them because the hand writing was VERY neat, ha ha ha. My son has chicken scratch. Unless, they made him do it this way.

Well, hopefully everyone gets their address soon and they get the correct one from the recruiter! I got m sons graduation date as well, April 1. We made reservations already at the hotel. Now the countdown begins!!

he'll get it..the processing street address is usually just the address to the RTC.

Thank God! I was getting so nervous today. I didn't want him to be without any letters when he was finally able to get them! His PIR is April 1.!!
