Great questions.  Im wondering how much time we'll get with our guys too.  Flying in from Florida.
My son is in this div, has a friend who is now in Buds in Ca, so I called his mom.  When he graduated, he was given liberty the entire weekend.  Started pre-Buds in GL the following Tuesday.
Its hard not knowing what to plan for.  I guess we need to prepare for little time, and be pleasantly surprised.
Talked to my son today and it sounds like that may be the case with our guys.  I sure hope so.
I thought I added a countdown clock to this page and now it's gone, if anyone want to add weather, clock etc. go for it!  You will see what I'm talking about on some of the other PIR sites.  Thanks!  G'night! d

Good morning everyone!  We are continuing to pray for all of our recruits.  Hoping they are quickly becoming used to military life.  Wondering what they are doing for sixteen hours/day (probably PT), what they are eating (to keep up with PT), are they sleeping well?  Still looking forward to a real letter so I can better know the real "state of mind".  Don't quit, push through!

The weather here continues to improve.  So thankful for the promise of spring!

I did print out those form questions found somewhere on this site.  My recruit never seemed to pick up on the artistic writing skills.  I thought those short answer questions might even get me a letter back!  I'm hoping to have something longer than a paragraph soon.  The suspense is killing me. lol  I was so impressed with the penmanship.  It wasn't even in Text Msg Script Mode!  I try to send a letter or card daily.  So many friends and family are praying for our recruits.  I pray they are all doing well and the time is moving along expeditiously for them.
Heard from my son.  First day they were up for 42 hours.  Wake up at 4 am to shouting :).  Looks forward to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and taps.  Not too bad.
Yes, prayer is the best thing we can do for our boys. I totally agree.

Ok Ill try again.

My son is in this div.  He left on 2/7

Hi Trying to find my way around this site.. LOL Do you have a son or daughter in this Div?

My son is.  Im new as well.  Not really sure what Im doing, but so glad to have found this.  Felt a little disconnected and lonely until I found this.
