traveler has said any color would work for her.... soccermom does not care for green, I don't want to use hot pink, how about orange everyone? burnt orange?  division 115 has already picked yellow.

11/116/11     traveler

orange sounds good to me, have not got a letter yet maybe monday.

I am definitely interested in a meet and greet!  I'm not really clear if it is something we do just for our division, or is it for all families with PIR 4/1/11?  Either way, it is going to be so fun to meet everyone!

I think the idea of having colored scarves is great!  Are we talking about a certain color just for our division?  That way our sailors will have a better chance of picking us out of the crowd.  As far as color, I previously suggested turquoise or light blue, but really - I am open to any color and will be happy to go with what everyone wants.

 traveler  ship11 division116.

navybleu would be nice.that way the man can use that color too.

Not to knock navy blue or anything, but I think it blends in too much with other dark colors and we need something that stands out a little more.  Otherwise, it would have been a totally appropriate color, ya know, NAVY blue!  :)

how about rusty orange?

is there anybody from the san antonio area?

is there nobody from the hillcountry??????????????

Division 117 has selected Navy Blue

Divsion 115 probably will select Yellow

Meet & Greet is a function held at the Ramada Inn the night before PIR, it is a courtesy event, not a requirement. It is set up for all the divisions. There is a link somewhere about this, I will look and see if we can add it to our discussion groups under our PIR 4/01/11...  Chastity sent me a PM and her daughter will not be returning to our 116, her injury should take at least 3 more weeks of PT, so she should be able to continue, but won't be in our PIR date. So now I only am showing 4 guys and 3 gals in our 116 that have family on N4Ms.

Let me know if you find anyone else!

I like the idea of turquoise, orange or aqua blue... I would love to make scarves for each of us. Let me know what color you might like!

Gosh!  I forgot to tell you that we booked our stay at the Navy Lodge!! We are getting a room with a kitchenette, so I will be able to fix something to eat right there on base!  I am so excited to get to stay on the base, we will be able to walk from our room to graduation. My husband "blueboy" just called them and made the reservations! We are driving from the Dallas, TX area, so I will be very content to get as close to our son as possible!

Just found out from another website that our SR's will be in dress blues!  How about a white scarf??? I would love to make them and embroider the PIR date and Ship 11 / Division 116 on them.  Would you be willing to have me do that?  Any color would work, but I think white would be AWESOME!

Let me know so I can go buy the fabric color and get started!

thats fine with me, white would be awesome make 4 please.

for traveler11/116

White sounds great, let's do it!
