my son is in that division also and have not heard anything.....im hoping the same thing you are.
My son is also in 807 and 3 of us in my family got letters on Friday.  Perhaps 808 wasn't allowed to write?  Should be soon, but if they only get to write on Sundays it might be mid-late week, not sure, but rest assured, they're doing fine, working hard and learning to fold laundry, sew on button, shine shoes, clean bathrooms, and not forget to do what they're told.

Ha Ha....my son complained about shining shoes and ironing all day. Now they know how we feel. :o) I'm thinking even if  808 couldn't write on Sunday, maybe they wrote on Monday (holiday) and you will get mail on Mon./Tues. Otherwise it will  be Thurs./Fri.

I hope so. When my husband sent me the graduation info he wrote on the bottom that he had already written me a letter. I hope tomorrow is the day!! Weird that the 808's haven't gotten letters out, but glad to know I am not the only one!
Maybe we will all receive a letter today!!
cant wait to check the mail  !!!!!!!    hahahaha!

My sons in Div 808 and his form letter said his girlfriend and i should be getting letters soon....still havent seen anything....maybe theyve written them theyre just being delayed in the processing and mail out??  i miss him terribly...ive never gone more than a week without seeing him... and more than 4 days without hearing his voice....its getting harder and harder each day..  i do hope the div 808 is doing ok....cant wait to hear something

also...has anyone checked out the navy recruit training command facebook.  they have pics of the week that they post...i found it to be interesting as well
Are you kidding me!  Didn't know they had a FB page
I checked it out.  Really cool!
Mail from 808 Div today.  My 1st letter from my son came in the mail today!!!
It was long, over five pages - certainly the longest thing he has ever written to me.  He sounded like a different person.  He said it's hard but he is doing good.  Said to remember his division and pray for unity.
