My recruit hasn't left yet, will be leaving in April, and he is so excited counting down the days. But I am growing weary, out of no where at night when I'm trying to sleep and he is just in the other room crazy things start running thru my mind and all of a sudden I burst into mournful crying its like a tidal wave that totally consumes me, I tell myself of all the positive points and eventually square up. Its so reassuring to be able to read more post on here that tells me I AM going to surive this, that I'm not losing my mind but am perfectly normal to be feeling the emotions that I am enduring. I'm so proud of him and his accomplishments. Thank you NFM's for allowing me to share and for letting me know I'm not alone.

Hi Heather,
My recruit does not leave until August. I can burst in tears as well. I try not to show it in front of her. Life has many changes and for me they are coming way too fast. All I can say, is relish the time left and embrace the future for our children. What keeps me sane is her excitement. I find solace in that.
Hey Lisa,
Your absolutely right and I do, when he is excitied i am also!!! Thats contagious. LOL it's a journey just have to take it one day at a time.
