Penny....thanks for the info.   Is like somebody that call a few times and never leave a message.  They put this articles but don't clarify what it is. Uff!!!
Talk to my son this morning and he was in his way to Boston.  He did 97 in yesterday quiz.  ONE more text and done for now.  I'm so proud of him.
Great Rose! Yay for your son! :) N didn't tell me when the big test is ....do you know?

Ok ladies...I just got off the phone with N and he said that he thinks the graduation is on Thursday March 10th not Friday March 11th due to a stand down on Friday. What do any of you know about this? If that is the case, I need to change my reservation. He wasn't sure, but said he would look into it tomorrow...if you know anything let me know.

Thanks,

Penny

Hi Penny....I have not heard of the date change for the BESS graduation, please let us know once you get more information and I will try and get information from my son as well. Oh goodness, I have plane reservations to fly out on the morning of the 10th it would be sad if I missed the graduation, but I would still get to see my son for the weekend so that is ok.

I will let you know...hopefully N checked into it some more today. I haven't changed my reservations at Navy Lodge yet. Where are you staying?

Oh Penny for the sake of all of us, I hope your son is wrong.  I'm driving from down here Florida and as it is we are driving straight.  Last night my son call me and he didn't mention anything.  He ask me if we still coming but not any changes.  About test he think is Friday, is everything that they learn over the two month.  Two months! can you believe it!!!  Uff!  I just look in the Groton group and a mom went this past Friday to the BESS graduation and she said was very nice and she strongly recommend the Navy Lodge.  My personal experience in PIR, I love it!!!

Again, I hope is just rumors about the change of the BESS graduation.

Ladies.....I just finish talking to my son and he said he haven't heard nothing like that and don't have any idea of what I'm talking about.  I don't know, all I know if that I want to be there in the BESS graduation!!!!  Hope is just a rumor or misunderstanding.
Thanks Rose...I'm texting N in a few minutes...I see what he has to say...but it sounds like Bess is still on for Friday...saying some prayers!

Ok, I spoke with N...he was wrong about the change in date...still on for the 11th. Phew! Glad I didn't change my reservation!

Penny

Whew is right!  I can't imagine they would change at such a late date with family and friends coming!  I'm really wishing I were going to be at BESS grad!  Just need to keep the April trip in mind so I don't feel bad about missing and again Ashley will be there cheering for A and taking pictures.  She is at the Navy Lodge too so if any of you meet her have her sit with you so she isn't alone!  As it stands right now A has Duty/Watch Friday night :-( so they can't go out.  I'm counting on living vicariously through you all so keep me posted and take lots of pictures!

Final Exam is DONE!  A is off the Red Lobster for a dinner celebration; Penny I think your Sailor is with him.  A did super well so he is excited.

Are any of you that are going to graduation going to the Submarine Museum?  Ashley wants to go but would love to join a group if others are going.  If you are staying at the Navy Lodge I can get you hooked up with her.  Just let me know.
