Welcome Sue to 11/116!

has anyone heard there really is going to be a family night on Thursday??  and is all of 116 grad and go??
Family Night is still an unknown... possibly a joke by their RDC's.  Everyone in 115 & 116 will be grad n go, it usually happens with the first two groups to graduate. But will probably fly out on Saturday.  Anyone on Facebook, I am!  Private Message me if you are interested in being friends there too. ;o)

Just got a letter from our daughter dated 02/26.  It says:

BTW! We're Grad'N Go! It means we graduate the 1st of April, and leave the second early morning.  The night before graduation is parents/family night.  31st of March.  Thats when we can hang out and eat dinner and meet my RDCs!  HAHA I'm sure they would love to meet the parents of their recruits".

HMMM  looks like we might be flying in one night earlier.  Did anyone else hear anything??

dont we need a gate pass for this??  I thought we weren't allowed on base past certain areas?
Lets wait to hear more about 'family night'  still not sure if that is a real thing or not. Sounds like something completely new... we all need to write questions to our SR's. If it is on base, maybe they will give us the ability to use the gate pass on Thursday night too. If our SR's flights out are early... ugh, but at least we will have Friday afternoon and early evening. That is going to be really hard to let him go so quickly. We are driving from TEXAS, so we are more flexible about traveling. Praise JESUS for a very generous boss and friends en route that we can stay the night with.

They are not being told for sure one way or another.  I don't know all the lingo, and that ranking of officers there at bootcamp, but...  one set tells them they are having it, and the other set tells them they don't do that anymore!  Maybe one of these days one of us will get a for sure answer!!  My SR told me they announced in front of her whole division that they didn't like her because... she asks too many questions!!

I am trying to figure out this website... several times I have read about private messaging someone, but I haven't figured out how to do that!!

I too have been stumbling around this site - lots of great info - however time consuming!!!!
Tuesday, March 1, 2011... still no letter this week from my SR. Sad Mommy and Daddy.
Hang in there!  You will probably get one tomorrow:)))
Didn't get one today either, did you?
its prob delayed in the mail.  We got three letters today dated 02/22, 02/25, and 02/26... which is quick compared to last week.. we got letters like 10 days after they were mailed :-(  doesnt the post office know how important those letters are?  lol
