I am ship 9 div 131 but do not have a letter stating this or my grad date.  I would assume all from that ship and div will graduate on the same day.

::waving::: I am liz

sooooo, do tell, What did your letters say from your SRs?  "Having fun, wish you were here?" lol

Liz

Hi Liz, I can only assume that you are right and that your graduation date is the same as mine :) My SR said that BC was what he expected and that he wished the food was a little better and last "see you April 15th for Graduation" . I hope you get your letter soon so you can read the few lines your child got to write on it.  Take Care and thanks for responding

I noticed at MEPS when he was shipping out that he already was trying to get with the food program.  He was sooo finicky but he grabbed a turkey sub and took a big bite.  I thought he was going to spit it into a napkin lol.  Then he opened up the sub and took what was supposed to be turkey out and ate it. Really I think he was so nervous he balled it into such small pieces he could not have possibly tasted it. When he comes out he will eat cardboard and love it.
My son is in this division. I just got my first real letter! I cried from the mailbox to the house. Sat down to prepare myself for what it said and then started crying all over again. He is getting his wisdom teeth removed,and of course I as his Mom can already feel his pain. He is good and eats 3 meals aday. He even gained weight but doesnt know how. They do alot of training. Hope to hear what your SR has to say...
yay! im so happy for you mary! :D i was the same way when i read his first letters too!

I received my son's letter on 3/2/11 and it was dated 2/22/11.  I was so thankful!! It was amazing.  I didn't know what to do. My arms were full when I was looking at the mail.  I didn't think it would come in a small envelope.  Then I wanted to drop everything but ended up wandering around aimlessly.  Then finally through the tears, read his words.  He is doing good but is sore.  The Commanders (RDC's) are strict but cool!  He was excited about getting his blue camos and they have assigned barracks now.  The letter said the USS John F. Kennedy.  That is so cool!!!  Short and sweet....and so-o-o-o-o GREAT!!!   :o)

Now if 'the box' would just arrive!!!  :o/

Mary tj's mom :) I am so happy to hear you got a letter!!!!! Glad to hear that your son is doing well !!!!!

I am still waiting for mine.  I have no idea what is keeping my child from writing me :) I sent him stamps, and then some SASE just to make things easy.  Now I am getting sad because your son in the same division was able to write and I am wondering why no letter yet :( I am sure there is a good reason :)

I am sure you will get one soon I was surprised he wrote so quickly.  Hang in there.
Your letter will come,Im sure he will write as soon as he can. My son said there is little time do anything so he dont know when he will write again.Hang in there! I was biting my nails just waiting...

The letters are coming!!!!  I got two today, One daughter got hers yesterday and the other daughter got hers today. These letters were written 2/19/11.  So they were slow out the gate but picking up speed now.  Keep the Faith ladies.  Sleep is in demand and apparently so are irons.  I can not wait to read my letters when I get home!.

Liz
