Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I listed the teams we still have to make contact with above. We are still looking for 16 people to make contacts with teams. Then we go after the ones that said no and attempt to shame them into participating... Sometimes a Mom just has to be stern.
Any takers of the above teams, just leave a comment that you are contacting them so no one else will. And if you need contact info, let me know.
Vickie,
That is for sure a game winner!! When they see your den and how long you have been a fan it will make a big difference!! Think how excited Rooney will be to hear that his mom has an in with his favorite team!! He will want you to pull strings for him next!!
I am sooo excited!! Just went to get the mail and I had mail from the Red Sox. They sent the postcard I asked for along with a pile of stickers, player cards of the most popular players - most of them autographed (about 95%), Red Sox Nation wrist bands (which everyone in the family wanted to claim one of), fun stuff ... It just made my day!
Can't wait to get everyone on board and go back to the Yankees and tell them we got some of their biggest rivals on board. Won't that be fun?? (All you non-Yankee fans out there...) Hey, here's a thought, we all go to NY dressed in our team gear also wearing all that we've collected and have our pic taken outside Yankee Stadium with a line saying Yankees are NOT America's team ... they don't support the troops. I can picture it on the front pages everywhere. Something funny for you all to make a mental picture of and just smile to yourself all day long. LOL - really loud!! :)
Maybe a letter on MLB letterhead from the commissioner just saying HMH 465 and thank you ???
(if you can get that ---then I bet all other teams would fall in line, especcially if you attached a copy of the letter to the request ???)
