Teresa,

I too am waiting for some word from my son.  We are moving this weekend and I am so afraid of missing a call from him.  I have Verizon phone service and they are going to forward all the home calls to my cell phone until they get the service set up at new address and they are letting me keep the same home phone number.....I am writing almost everyday and will continue too even if he is to busy to write....They need our support and will cherish every word.  Hang in there the time will soon be over and we will see them....not soon enough but the wait will be worth it....

Carol

Hey Carol

How are you doing? Did you hear from your son and I hope your move went well.

no phone call yet! i also carry around my phone with me everywhere! and yes I am checking the mailbox everyday..no letter yet! i hope soon!

Hi Rosemary

Have you heard anything from Ashley? I received a letter yesterday from JC and my parents received one today.

They were short but he seems to be doing well. I hope you hear from your daughter soon.

My letter was short too - but then he wrote his dad, me, his grandpa (on my side) and his grandma on his dad's side.  I am hoping to get another letter next Wednesday.  If they write on Sunday, seems like it takes until Wednesday to get to the southern end of the state.  Yesterday was the first day that I did not write him.  My daughter and grandson spent the day with me, and I was busy holding my grandson who is 2 months old.  I usually only get to see him on Saturdays.  I feel bad for not writing him, but I know my letters  are getting kind of boring.  I need to find a website with little funny jokes or cartoons and send him some of those...  Hope you are having a relaxing Sunday afternoon!
Got a 2nd phone call from my son yesterday, I get so excited to see that area code 847....he only got like a 8 minute call but it was great. Said he and others in his div have sore throat going around. I sure hope they start feeling better....looking forward to more letters and calls. Only 36 days to go...
