My son flew out of SJ for Chicago on 2/17, and is on Ship 9/Div. 138. I still dont know his graduation date. I assume it will be 4/15 or 4/22.
His dad and I haven't been together for years, so hoping he sends the info we need to both our addresses. :(

Well, I got a double good whammy today. Got my letter, which was pretty standard, no real good or bad emotions showing. & he just called about 45 mins. ago and we talked for exactly 2 min. 10 seconds. He said everything was good and he was fine, but super busy, but then he said he had to go I heard the guy screaming at them to get off the phones or something, and he got choked up said "I love you mom and I miss you and I'll call soon, with a teary voice"... that's all it took for me to break down. :(
But I was the first person he called, so that makes me happy that he knows I'm the one over here worried. He said no one else sent him letters yet, except me.
Thank you. :o) He mentioned that his division were acting like "ASSCLOWNS" so he wasnt sure of the grad date, although SUPPOSED to be 4/15. I think he got all my letters though. He did not mention Grad and Go.
When he originally embarked on his journey for RTC, he said he thought after bootcamp, he came back for a week or so, and then off to Pensacola. Not sure though, maybe he was mistaken.
You have a blessed day too! We'll have to meet at the grad. Do you have a facebook?
