I am confused-Navyfiance.  did your fiance also live in tokyo?  Is Great Lakes the ONLY boot camp for the navy?

Great Lakes is the only bootcamp for the US Navy!
Oh I see, how wonderful.  You have practiced being a navy wife already.  My son said he gets my letters every day.  That made me feel better than I thought it would.  Keep writing they can only mail out on Sunday  but they get letters everyday.    What do you think their card should say?
I am sure he is not mad.  I bet he held them close to his heart and closed his eyes and wished he were with you for a second and for that second everything was wonderful.  Keep writing.  Tell him you are ok.  Tell him about the future you dream about with the two of you.  Try to keep your chin up and lift his spirits.

They are going into week 4 correct?  I think I read someplace that week 4 is the hardest....I have a card I want to send to pass around the division since they can not speak to each other.  I want to give them all a boost. The card says....

Tina was so tough her poodle skirt had a bull dog on it.  Inside it says "things may be tough but you are tougher!"  what shall I write to them all?

My son is also graduating on 4/15

awww, so sorry gonavy.  Halfway there and has to leave.  I bet he is just heartbroken.  I am sooo sorry.  But I will say this, God has a plan for everyone and apparently this was not in your SR's plan. Wishing him luck in the future and best wishes for you.

Liz

ok Ladies, I sent a card to the division.  I told them how proud we are and for them to hang tough and work together.  That we love and respect and support each and every one of them.  I hope my son forgives me for sending it in a green envelope but it was the only one it fit in.  I asked him to pass it around.  I hope he doesn't get in trouble but he doesn't know what it is like to not get mail. I mail him at least one letter every day.

Hi Everyone,

Sounds like we are all hanging in there...My son said the same thing about his division doing alot of IT and not paying attention, but he also said that he has made alot of friends. They got his back and of course he has theirs! In his letters he says their talking again when their not supposed too now everyone is going to get in trouble.I miss him so much cant wait to see him on 4/15 even if its 15 mins. Im hoping for more but will take what I can get lol

Mary-where are you staying?  I am staying at La Quintas Inn and Suites

Not sure where we are staying... Got to play all this day by day but I will be there !! My husband and daughter and 2 year old grandson are also going on this trip. How far is La Quintas from base?

Hello there - My son is also a SR with Ship 9, Div 131 graduating 4/15.....good to "meet" you.  Have you received any phone calls since the initial call to let you know of safe arrival ?
