Did most of you in the 807 Division get calls today!?  They're doing great!  My son said he's pretty sure they'll take the Captain's Cup as they're all pulling together as a team.

No  =(

No call, no letter this week...:(
Yes.  How wonderful to hear that voice!  Can't wait to give him a big hug!!!
DIV 807:my son said their officer said you have one minute to find your calling cards and get to the phone booths, so if you didn't get a call today, it might be because they didn't get there in the time frame.  I was really glad to talk to my son because he has an old roommate in Japan and use to live in Hawaii so it was good to reassure him everyone was ok!  They did tell the recruits about what was going on with the earthquake.  I think it was Josh who was standing beside him and wanted to know if I was friends with his mom.  I still haven't made the list of whose name goes with which mom! :-)  I told him to invite a sailor to dinner Sat. night who did not have family coming to PIR.  He has a friend from PA that he's going to ask.  He JUST  got the calling cards I mailed to him yesterday-good timing! Whew!  They have had a few guys leave spec ops, but on the whole he said they are building a real solid team and should have the week off before PIR.  Has anyone else heard this?  Now for Battlestations!  I told him how wonderful this website has been for all of us!
I would be surprised if they have the week off prior to PIR, as they all have things that need to be taken care of.  Battlestations is usually done the week before PIR.  But with the military anything is possible.  Do not be sad if you did not get a call today, it happens and the lines of communication will be much better after PIR.  Treasure the ones you get and do not fret about the ones you do not.
I heard quite a bit of liberty over the weekend; Friday, Sat, prob Sun, but not the week.  Could be though.  I think they're ready for a change of pace.
No letters for me this past week :( My husband did call today for quick minute about our bank account. Said he should be getting to make a call later today (didn't happen) or tomorrow. Hoping to hear from him tomorrow!!!
Any word when 807 is doing Battle Stations?
I got my son's call this past Saturday.  It was incredible to hear his voice.  He said he has made so many good friends. He sounds so good. Only a little more than 2 weeks now.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you.  Thank you all for your comments and taking the time to share.
