Are we doing royal blue scarves? or other blue? order or make? such big decisions.

I am thinking navhl blue. Is there a place to order them? I was just going to buy one at a clothing store like JCPenneys.

Navy Blue sounds great - find what you like and would you let me know the item number. I just started a Penneys order, so that would work well for  me. Now that I have plane tickets I should be relieved, but no, now I will worry about his PIR being changed
I feel the same way. We have our flights booked with Southwest flying into Midway Airport and they are refundable and a pretty penny. I guess we will do anything to see him at graduation. I will let you know more about the scarf. I am seeing on here people ordering from LLBean that have ship logos? on them. I might check that out but Navy Blue can be the color. I am hoping they will let the kids call that didnt get through last week this weekend I know a long shot but I can just hope for it.
ship logo would be cool. Pennys had a blue one with a rope image, and the only one I saw on LL bean was yellow stripes
wow i will check out the one from Pennys with the rope image would be cool. just so exciting to plan also planning for my daughter's baby shower for next weekend i have so much going on and also interview next week for a promotion. i just asked to invite Lala ribbons to find out more about the ribbons she makes too.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE NOT BORED! I just started a new job week before last. I am ordering ribbons for us and the grandmas as they are left at home. The one from pennys is sold out, bummer. LL bean has a yellow striped french sailor scarf if you want to change color
i will look at it b4 i make a decision. yes very busy but constantly thinking of my son away from home for the first time. LOL i know he is 25 but always home so are having empty nesters too. i will let you know about scarfs and ribbons.

I

I have a SR in Ship 9, Div. 140.... How Exciting to find others too.     I got my first phone call last Wed. 3/16 around 2:00 P.M..  I'm hoping to get a call as I write now.  My recruit had 2 wisdom teeth pulled.  Has been sick with a cold off and on, but overall is doing great.   He says the food is low fat which is O.K. but the coffee isn't .. instant!  But he does get diet coke which he enjoys.

I'll be at the PIR, so will DAD.  Wer'e excited about going and can't wait.

I originally booked with Southwest to Midway.  I got the "Get Away" rate.  Then I talked it over with my husband, ( A long haul driver that's driven through Chicago many times) and he urged me to change and fly into Milwaukee.  I called Southwest and they not only changed it, they refunded me the difference because it's cheaper.  I LUV Southwest Airlines!!

I also got a car rental in Milwaukee and saved over half what I was gonna pay at Midway.

So those of you still booking, think about it.

I'd like to know about the scarves as well.  I think Navy Blue as well.

If you want to add me as friend we can trade names. My Dad, my service dog and I are flying into Ohare and having Sarge's taxi pick us up and take us to navy Lodge. I wanted close so son could get back to base with only a 5 buck taxi fare. we come in from portland Wed night as I wanted leeway in case something like weather went haywire. My husband hates traveling so will stay home. Taxi sarge said Milwaukee is much better than Midway. Poor guys, instant coffee ewww! I will try to add you so we can exchange phone numbers. We are leaving our reservations going home Monday even tho he is grad and go (GL) in case he gets some time.
hey Mumsy - I flunked adding you as friend can you do it from your end please? I came home from work early in case they got to call today but no call, bummer
I have a son in this division too. I been carrying my cell phone around all this week to hear from him and still nothing. I have had two letters from him and I have been writing him constantly. I thought I would get one today but probably tomorrow. As your sons write please share and I will too. We are flying into Midway but seeing above we may call Southwest and change it. We get there Thursday afternoon and fly out early Sunday morning. We have a Grad and Go too so Saturday should be a good time. We are staying at Red Roof Inn just a mile or so from base and will take free shuttle to the PIR and we rented a car. My husband works PTime for Hertz so got a discount. Hotel not too bad either.
